Welcome aboard.

Trust me, the search function is your friend on this site. There is a LOT of terrific information and people on this site to use as resources to get your Paso running in tip-top shape. Sounds like you are in a better boat than I am with my Paso. At least yours was running. :D

I posted some pictures and a part number just over a year ago. Already seen it, made a hardcopy, and put it in my 3-ring binder with the shop manual, parts manual, and other threads of interest that I've found on this site. On a side note - Over the weekend, I assisted a buddy with the va...

...good luck with the project. Thanks, because I need it with this thing. I'll add another page or two to my website in the next day or two, but other things that I've run across over the last week or two.... 1) Dellortos missing 3 of the 4 cable adjuster lock nuts 2) Gas tank previously sealed imp...

Funny, but there is no "kill switch" problem. All you do when you place the switch in the off position is kill the power to the coils which allows the starter to get enough juice to crank. Once it's turning you can then switch on. Make the wiring upgrade and all of your electrical problem...

Finally!!! I found the original thread where I read about this... http://forums.ducatipaso.org/viewtopic.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=61&highlight= I was already planning on doing the wiring upgrade, so now it looks like it is practically mandatory. Here's the direct link to jcslocum...

If nothing was rewired from a pervious owner it`s probably a bad switch or bad contact or ground connection.
Starter solenoid is fine. I believe it is a bad switch (contact in the switch), and from what I read elsewhere, fairly common on the Pasos.

Kill Switch - OFF to Start...ON to Run

I ran across this issue in another thread, but can't seem to find it with the searches, again, so, I'll make this easier for future websearchers.... My Paso will not engage the starter with the kill-switch, on the right handlebar, in the "ON" position. I have to have it in the "OFF&qu...

Thanks to this thread, I learned of a problem before it became one with my project Paso. While having the Dellortos apart, I noticed these dimples in the slides, and with this thread, I knew I should file them out. I didn't have a file that size, and wanted to share with you what I found to work. I ...
