Re: Did you ride today? Show me!
A mate and I rode a couple of thousand kms around the lower North Island, New Zealand a couple of weeks ago. Matching 907s!! The stop/go dude in this first pic must of had a hard night, or was just enjoying the seat in the sun because he was snoring when we turned up. Dual Ducatis wasn't enough to r...

Re: 907 headlight
Thanks for the info on the lights, I managed to find one that is coming out from Japan at the moment - so thats all good. Yeah, most/all of those on ebay (usa) are no good for me. I had already got the coil info from the faq, but thanks for the reminder. This leads me to a question for a non electri...

907 headlight
hello all, looking for a headlight for a 907 - it needs to dip the correct way for riding on the left side of the road. ie. UK, Australia, New Zealand, Japan....... Are the headlights the same on all Paso models - 750, 906, 907? Is it the FZ750 yamahas that have the same headlight? Also looking for ...

17" rims ready to go
Hi, since I replaced my 906 (damaged) with a 907 (undamaged) I now have a pair of 17" rims up for grabs - put the 16" ones back on when I sold the 906. From memory they are zxr ones. These have had the centres machined for bearings that fit the paso axles and appropriate spacers, disc carr...

Re: Did you ride today? Show me!
Not today but rather the start of June is an annual winter rally held down in Central Otago - near where the coldest temp ever recorded in NZ was. Anyway, this is my recently purchased 907 at the top of Danseys Pass for the photo stop and a shot of something warming. The dirt road was all good till ...

bye bye 906 .......
........ hello 907! Got taken out in October on my 906 and decided to sell it rather than repair, which I actually regretted about a month later. So, was looking around for a replacement and found a 907 that seems in good nick and for a reasonable price. I like it. Before I sold the 906 I ...

Re: K&N filters for mikunis
These filters are tapered so don't touch at either the sides or top - but I did have to cut the mounting flange down to the width of the clip.
There is different K&N (ru-1850 I think) filter that is parallel all the way up and these do touch.

Re: K&N filters for mikunis
Well, it's taken awhile but finally sorted out the problems I was having getting my bike to run with the new mikunis. As it turned out the issue was with a badly worn key and shaft keyway for the pulley that drives the timing belt, which caused the timing to vary from correct to incorrect and hence ...

Re: 906 Front Brake Discs for New Zealand rider?
Hello, from reading this I see you've got you disc problems sorted but for future reference this is the contact details for Freddys Discs, who used to be somewhere else but are now in Hamilton. He cut some for me, from memory $200 ea, so should have the sizes already on file to cut another pair. Can...
