George, on the bottom side of the ignition switch there are 2 allen bolts. Check the P750 FAQ and you will find the link to the "Paso magazine articles and other downloads" thread in the P750 forum. In it you`ll also find the 750 Sport workshop manual. G. Thanx for the response. I have th...

Great read on the fix.

I have a 90 Sport and my question is how to remove the switch. Are the internally threated and tapered "covers" on the underside of the switch removed with a jack screw??

TIA

Re: Clutch Cover

manitoufs, Regarding the topic, not long after I bought my Paso , I put a vented clutch cover on for purely aesthetic reasons, i.e. looks and sound, and have been very happy with it ever since. It's not as beautifull as the item shown in jcslocum's post, but it's similar. Regarding, the wooden plat...

These images are truly beautiful, both the hardware and the setting. My question, not related to the clutch cover (sorry), is where did the official Ducati wooden platforms come from? I believe Miss Vicki had 'em made up for the Mid-Ohio VMD shindig last year. I don't know what happened to 'em afte...

You've quite a museum, manitoufs! You have your images in the gallery? No images in the gallery yet. That pic was taken at the 2005 Mid-Ohio Vintage MC Days. Ducati was the featured marque. My Sport was one of the bikes in the museum. Here is my other Ducati. http://www.scottishwoods.com/...

On the clutch -
I have a 1990 750 Sport. The o-ring on the slave cylinder needed replacement on mine. A Mityvac greatly simplifies the bleeding procedure.

That sure sounds like a similar setup. Mine is an upgrade to a 26 mm piston and one of those "loud clutches save lives" open covers. How many o-rings did it have? $200 ????????????? The stock Ducati piston is $160. I guess "ya gotta pay the man" that tore apart the first one a go...

1990 750 Sport clutch slave cylinder

Has anyone done a re-build of the piston for this puppy? It looks like a seal and a bearing are all that's required. I don't want to destroy the seal without having a new one on hand.

Part numbers anyone?
