Re: Paso 750 Dies in 1st gear
Here I am! I left my contact information on your voicemail. I'll try to help you out as much as possible. I had owned the bike since 96. I was the second owner. Carbs were rebuilt in 2006. Post some pics of what the bike looks like now, I am curious of her condition. It looks as if a lot of the meta...

I just ended up doing an engine swap as a fix. I still have the broken engine in the garage. So I am curious what replies we he...

Unscrew a spark-plug and put in the HI voltage pipe; leave the screw touch the engine and crank the bike: no spark means TROUBLE  (NEVER DO SUCH WITHOUT SPARK PLUGS AND DO NOT TOUCH IT WHILE CRANCKING!!!  ) You really need a volt meter (even low cost will do) to ceck voltage in oran...

allright, don't flame me to hard.... The battery had been getting weak. The trickle charger was not helping any. Whenever I wanted to ride, I would have to use my sears battery charger. I would put the positive lead on the positive battery terminal and the negative charger lead on the ducati's frame...

Faulty Regulator Symptoms are???
Only my charge light and the oil light come on when the ignition key is on. They used to all light up. Now the bike cranks over but won't start. Does this sound like a regulator problem. Is it normal for only those two cluster lights to come on when a regulator is wasted?? Freakinn Ducati....

Voltage Regulator replacement options??? 88 Paso 750
I believe my voltage regulator is dead on my 1988 750 Paso. What can I do to get up and running again? Can I replace it with a different brand? Maybe one that cost less, readily available and is more stable???
Thanks,
Mike

Selling my Paso stuff. I have a complete 1988 750 Paso (blue) with under 10k. Every thing is fine on it except the voltage regulator (I believe). With the sale comes two additional spare engines. One has a bad countershaft bearing and the other has a bad 2nd gear (rounded dogs). I also have a extra ...

Dellorto carbs gone bezerk!!!
Well, I swapped engines from a donor 750 Paso into my 88 Paso that is pretty darn clean. I kept me Dellorto carbs and installed them to the donor engine. I had some crappy gas left in the Dells and tank. I drained the feul and dropped the bowls on the carbs to clean the slides and seats and such. Th...
