Couldn' t find any replacement brushes, so bought a low mileage starter off ebay, still not cheap, but will get me back on the road. It comes from a later 748, same part number as my 906!!

Thanks ducapaso, our ducati dealers do not sell these spares just new starters at £250...only hope is finding out which kawasakis use the same starter, and buying brushes from a kawasaki dealer, maybe a zx 10r!!!

906 Starter motor

Need new brushes for my 906 starter motor, its a denso model, is the starter the same as fitted on 907, ie can I fit the kawasaki zx7 brushes as listed on 907 forum??? plus the small carbon bush that supports the armature is worn and needs replacing, is this available too???

Need CO reading as have a exhaust gas analyser, want to to get carb setting as close as possible to std setting before using the colortune, its at 3.5% at the moment

Have rebuilt my weber carb, modified the accelerator pump cam profile (LHS)and fitted a fuel regulator. I have found a cheaper replacement!!!, item also fitted to lots of Fiats intermotor part no 50200, 92/87 degrees as std ducati one with same spade connectors and paid £11

Hi, Does anyone know if the radiator fan switch can be replaced with another model/make as local dealer is asking for over £50 about 100 us dollars!! its made by BEHR , and about M22 thread thanks Peter

Hi all, just joined your forum, have a red 1991 906 paso, with 9600 miles, which is my first road bike, also have a kdx 220r and want to go to 17 inch wheels, but keep 906 brakes for now, have a 851 5.5 rear wheel and 180.55x17 tyre, will this fit my swing arm, looks tight, some on forums say yes so...
