The basket looks worn making it rattle worse. I dont see any point in replacing these parts till they dont work. I...

Re: Bleeding clutch

Just tie the lever in to the handlebars overnight and when you come back to it next day, the air bubble has often found its way out. Its worked on a few of my Ducs which must mean Im bleedin lazy.

Re: 1992 907 Left Engine Cover Needed

You should be able to use one from a watercooled bike such as a 906, a 916, 996, 998, S4 etc. Air cooled 900s can also be adapted. The 916 onwards covers have a sliding seal assembly behind the water pump so make sure you have one of those to fit. The 906 type covers have individual seals and bearin...

Re: 907ie thats been sitting for 6 years

Gary If its been stood that long, the seal housing on the water pump can go causing oil and water to mix when hot. Early ones have a couple of cheap seals and bearings costing you about £3 later ones can be fitted with a 916 sliding seal / bush assembly. The early ones would need the bore taking out...

Re: Petrol tank hoses

Mine seems to be running ok now. The cutting out I could have sworn to be fuelling continued when hot even after doing everything in the fuel system. In desperation I went through the ignition system. I replaced plugs, leads, cleaned all connections and coil earths etc etc. Even though it was all a ...
