Yes, they are part numbers. I think they are "generic", depending on the source. I don't believe they are Ford numbers, but the Ford dealer may be able to cross-reference for you.

"I replaced my pump with this same part (although found for $41.00 at a local auto parts store). Other part #'s are: NFP P74069, TFP 2P74069 and E2486".

FWIW: I'm adapting a pair of Range Rover ('03 - up) side markers as a replacement for my front turn signals. Will take some cutting/drilling in the fairing, but will definitely look better than those elephant ears!

I posted a note about a NAPA replacement pump ( NFP P74069) in March of this year. At this time, I can no longer recommend this pump. The first pump I put in lasted about 5 weeks.
