Had a similar fault, bike would turn over but not start. My Problem was with the two relays with the blade fuses in them, next to the flasher relay. At some point one of the fuses must have been replaced, but it was a poor fit as it was a slightly different size, so when the bike was running the vib...

Just like to thank you guys as i have suffered with this light problem as well.
Special thanks to Derek for his explanation which after some head scratching enabled me to do the mod.
No more blinking in sympathy with the indicators :-)

Ed, Had a similar problem with relays, turned out to be the fuse carrier in the relay was a loose fit, intermittent not firing,see this link, there are pictures of relays, maybe they are the same ! Had a very similar problem, bike would crank, no spark etc. Even when the bike was warm and had been running fine, suddenly just cranking but would not start. My fault was caused by one of the 2 injector relays,the ones with fuses ! A previous owner or mechanic had replaced a fuse in the relay, but ...
