Re: PROJECT SUCATI !!!!!!!!!!!!! ??????????????????????
Just some details and pics of progress. Progress has been so sloooooooow, but there is progress :choo: Mostly been doing paintwork - tank is finished, rear seat unit just possibly adding some stickers, then clearcoat and then seat pads to finish. Just finished assembling the unit to hold the project...

Re: 1990 Ducati 750 Sport Dellorto Carbs
Hi Ant i'm right in the middle of doing the same thing. What inlet manifolds (gold) are those? If they are off a monster or something, I might have to make up a pair - is it possible to tell me the length? Have you run the engine yet? Main jet size? Cheers Clive Hi Clive, Inlet manifiolds are from ...

Re: 1990 Ducati 750 Sport Dellorto Carbs
Hi, im just in the process of doing a mikuni swap (from original webber). Bought the largest cone air filters i thought would fit, + rubber elbows + aluminium link tubes - it was a frikkin nightmare to get them to fit, but ive done it ! Biggest issue was making everything fit so i could get the tank...

Re: Ducati paso restoration
Anton, don`t forget that rear axle of Paso and Sport are different diameter. Check  - think ive got that part sorted thanks - biggest problem is rear wheel - the brake disc is too far in, the sprocket side is too far out and the cbr chain size is too big (sprocket is thicker than the sport...

Re: PROJECT SUCATI !!!!!!!!!!!!! ??????????????????????
Hi Anton you are doing almost exactly what I intend to do with my sport. I've never really liked the standard fairing and seat look. I've always been worried that the tank would look dated with a "newer" style fairing but from your pics actually looks ok. I must say though that i preferre...

Re: PROJECT SUCATI !!!!!!!!!!!!! ??????????????????????
since we are showing mods: here is my quick and dirty oil cooler move: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2422/3601361217_9882033e62.jpg?v=0 ducati twin valve covers seem to be interchangable. the only difference between ss and sport seems to be that the ss (and monster) are a bit flatter - have less c...

Re: PROJECT SUCATI !!!!!!!!!!!!! ??????????????????????
While its your bike, and you will do as you see fit, you also posted pictures, so are now entitled our opinions, which are sometimes compared to smelly body parts and every one has one. But, since you asked: - I really like the Suzuki fairing on it. I never did like the lower section of the Sport f...

Re: PROJECT SUCATI !!!!!!!!!!!!! ??????????????????????
i took another look at your bike-- sort of blurred my eyes to imagine it in matching colors-- and yeah, im into it, thats going to be a great looking ride. The cut of the suzuki fairing actually fits it well@!! I like how it cuts back on itself to show the dry clutch, like it knew it was there. :th...
