Re: Technical (non Paso) 1990 900ss
It is not my intention to hijack this thread, but after reading Glocast's post I have to ask. Can a 750 Sport or Paso be easily modified to accept the clutch setup from a later style slave cylinder.

Re: Dellorto or Mikuni TM?
I have a 750 Sport with 36mm dellortos. It runs well at at throttle openings, so the dellortos will work very well. However, I also have an RD400 with flatslide mikuni carbs and a 100/7 BMW with flatslide mikuni carbs. The flatslides made a dramatic improvement in the way that both run. That said, I...

Re: Mc Tools new bike
I can say from personal experience that that bike is well worth fixing. The damage is not as bad as you would think. http://i390.photobucket.com/albums/oo348/Maico88/IMG_1090.jpg Here are a couple of sites that you may find helpful. http://www.2strokeworld.com/forum/index.php http://www.usa2strokers...

Bevel Heaven
Have to put in a good word for Bevel Heaven. I have gotten great service from them every time I have ordered parts. This time, parts ordered on Friday before Memorial Day and arrived on Tuesday after Memorial Day.

Re: stariting procedure w/36mm dellortos?
I have a 750 Sport with 36mm dellortos. Starting procedure is nothing special. Cold engine hit starter without choke. If it doesn't start immediately (usually does except in winter) small amount of choke. In winter (less than 40 fahrenheit) half choke. I have a bar mount choke cable that runs to bot...

Re: Dell'Ortos?
That is a really good looking sport. I have one like yours and I have taken ducnthebays advice and added 90 degree elbows. They fit very well, make room for large air filters and help the bottom end. http://i390.photobucket.com/albums/oo348/Maico88/IMG_1134_zpsf7d6edad.jpg http://i390.photobucket.co...
