Well its 4:30 here in California and sun is below the horizon and temp is dropping fast so I will pick up tomorrow - and get with you (Higgy) about where the orange wire that I used to power the coils is coming from. I'm not sure if the volts should be coming from the regulator, through the ignition...

no spark at the plugs everything else is working - turning over, etc. can anyone refer me to a systematic electrical diagnostic path to trace the lack of spark problem? EDIT:I have the 2 relays added per 750 Paso wiring upgrade. No voltage at coils - Ignition switch functions - Starter switch cranks...
