Re: Belt change 906 aaaaaaaaargh @£$%^&* !!!
Ok, I just did a close exam on the pulley and now see that the flange is a narrow "ring" around the pulley and that is what you mean that just pulls off. That is what I will do. Thanks for the help.

Re: Belt change 906 aaaaaaaaargh @£$%^&* !!!
When you say just pull them off with a pair of pliers, do you mean they will come off the pulley without anything else like bolt removal? I am concerned to just pull something off, it sounds too easy, don't want to damage anything. Sure would like a picture of them coming off to enlighten my slow mi...

Re: Swing Arm Decals
Thanks for the specs on the decals. Fortunately our family owns SignsNow franchises and I can have any decal made I need (for free of course, need something back!). My repos came out great very close to factory. Also had them make the front fork "M 1 R" red Marzocchi decals that go on the ...

Re: Swing Arm Decals
I found the position on both sides of swing arm where decals go. Still need sizes and are the decal back grounds clear or white or ? Pictures I have found look like they are black letters with clear on back to see aluminum swing arm color. Just a small thing but I want to put bike back to original a...

Swing Arm Decals
Can someone give me decal height and width on the two decals that go on swing arm? One is for chain adjusting and the other for load. Also approximate position on the swing arm for both. Thanks. FAQ on this site gives decal pictures but no dimensions.

Re: Fork Oil Replace
I just found the M1R Manual that came with my bike in folder I had overlooked from previous owner. Original complete Manual for front forks. Very helpful. Thanks for heading me in that direction.

Fork Oil Replace
Want to change fork oil/fluid. Looks like most other bikes in that you drain fluid, pump forks to get it all out, support bike so when you take fork caps off springs do not fly up and front end drops, pour in manual suggested weight and quantity of oil, screw caps back in and done, right? Anything p...

This is for you current or past Ducati mechanics or knowledge owners. 1992 907ie, professionally serviced 6 years ago with valve adjust, new belts and a bunch of other service items completed. Bike has been ridden approximately 500-800 miles since then (6 years) and always stored in enclosed garage ...

Stock muffler mods
'92 907ie with stock Ducati mufflers. When I shine the flashlight inside the muffler I see some silver packing like aluminum wool or crumpled aluminum foil about 12-14" down the tube. Can this be removed to give better flow? Am installing Fast by Ferracci Stage 1 chip in ECU with KN air filter ...

Re: slightly a newbie
Anyone had experience with this set up - Fast by Ferracci stage 1 chip with K&N air filter only. I have stock pipes, no aftermarket slip ons. I am going to do this, just wondering if much difference in performance if anyone has done this same set up. Ferracci says increases power and deliver on ...

Re: slightly a newbie
After contacting Eraldo he told me what Stages were for his chips. Stage 1 is for slip ons. Stage 2 is for engine modifications. Stage 3 is for 944 kit (don't know what that is). I have a stock set up and he advised if bike running great don't mess with it. Quick answers and very friendly, would lik...

Re: slightly a newbie
I assume you just take the top off the ECU unit and plug in the chip in the proper place? Never done that before so am looking for info. I had a '91 that had the Fast by Ferracci complete unit in it and it was great. I have now bought a 1992 that has 15K original miles on it (bought new and stayed m...

Re: SH673-12 Regulator Question
So what do you guys use in place of original regulator when it goes out and you still retain the working dash ignition light? Or do you source out a stock one?
