I think the proper sag is more important than custom spring rates for most riders. Correct for all riders! If your static and loaded sags are both correct, you have the right spring. I think you'd be advised to check the oil strainer (they have a strainer and a filter) for slivers of crank gallery plug, which can sometimes back out and will eventually lead to the seizure of your engine.
