Re: Pickups / pulse Generators

Hi Hamish, Yup I have, along with the bike shop have checked all connections , I fitted a relay to system awhile ago to make sure there is 12v to the coils . Swapped bits around , but seems the only thing we can fault is the pickups or wiring from them. this all seems to have happened since puuting ...

Pickups / pulse Generators

Hi All, Decided to take my 750 into a local motorcycle shop, it's been running ruff for while and I've tired tuning it after converting to Mikuni's. Also the starter motor was intermittent and don't have time at the moment to do it myself. Starter motor was just the bushes which was suspected , but ...

Re: Mikuni lean spot & pod filter #'s

Hi Radduck, Sounds similar to the problems I had. I've rejetted with a Dynojet kit for a 750 Monster, but still had the same issues as it state's to turn the air/fuel screw 3.5 turn out for a Monster. Followed the instruction for a 750ss witch state's 2 turns out, now it runs fine. My air/fuel screw...

Re: 906 /750 paso swingarms

Just a minute. Tony has 2 x Paso 750 swingarms and Hamish has found 2 other swingarms. So, what has happened to 4 x Pasos? Fraser. 1 is off my 750 which now has a 907 swingarm & 17" wheels , the other I got off trademe & have mod'd to take a larger tyre size. I'm keeping my original sw...

Re: 906 /750 paso swingarms

Hi, Got 2 750 swing-arms , 1 I'm keeping as it came off my 750, the other was my plan B if the 907 swing-arm didn't work. It 's been mod'd to take a larger tire by moving the brace forward (see pic's ). PM me if your interested. http://i989.photobucket.com/albums/af12/foxtee1277/SwingArm/GEDC0005.jp...

Re: tach cable????

Check the maker name on the gauges eg. Veglia or Smiths ,
mine show Veglia on the speedo only, but the thread on both is the same. The speedo cable I got last year fit perfectly.
You could also drop them a email , I've found very helpful.

Re: 17"wheel conversion

The brake bracket's are the opposite way round for the 300mm disc's ( normal for 280mm disc's).
The brake lines are a Venhill kit made for Paso's off Ebay .
Next to do is get the bike cert'd for a W.O.F. :) :)

Re: 17"wheel conversion

Hi, Got the calipers as you see them from Gotham Cycles off a 996. To bleed them I used a vacuum plump and sucked the brake fluid down from the reservoir . So far no chance to really test ride as the weather has been crap up here in Wellington. :) http://i989.photobucket.com/albums/af12/foxtee1277/S...
