I agree, the cost of a 1 off sprocket is expensive. But if a group of, say, 20 or 30 got together, maybe the price would come down significantly.

Re: Paso 750 Rear Tire solution (160/60/16)
I don't know if it's of any help, but the AFAM Japan website (www.afam.co.jp/E/index2.htm) says they can make offset front sprockets: "We welcome any inquiries or orders on "made-to-order" for unlisted items and models. The delivery date is about 2months, The price is from Yen18,000. ...
Re: 16" tires
On Monday I visited the Dunlop stand at the UK Motorcycle Show and asked about the possibility of producing a limited production run of a 160/60 x16 tyre. I was surprised to hear that they knew all about the Paso tyre problem, but they said that it would cost about GBP 45,000 to make up a new mould ...

Re: Throttle cable
Thanks for that info. All the local Ducati dealers don't have one and it is listed as obsolete in the Ducati parts system. Unfortunately I missed the end of the eBay item. Does anyone know if a 904 Paso throttle cable is the same or similar to the 750 Paso?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Throttle cable
Does anyone know where I could get a standard throttle cable for a 750 Paso? Venhill say they could make one but they need me to send one to copy.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Paso 750 Rear Tire solution (160/60/16)
I`ll post when I continue, it may take a while though. It`s the third year that I haven`t ridden the bike after stripping it to its very last screw and restoring/modifying it as perfect as I can. I`m in no hurry as you notice  but now I would like to have her on the road until my 40th birt...

Re: paso 906 tyres
I called them this morning and was also told that they had some front and rears in both Michelin and Pirelli for £300 per pair but that they would first have to check the exact stock situation in their warehouse. They later called me to say that they only had one Pirelli 130/60-16 front tyre and no ...

Re: Offset chain sprockets
H Ken,
Many thanks for that info. Is there any chance that you could accurately measure the diameter and width of the fitted Bridgestone tyre so that we can compare it to the size of the Avons?
Are the 14T and 40T sprockets standard for the 906?

Re: want 16 inch tires ?
See the reply below received today from David Banks of Maxxis UK: ... Just talking in general terms –it is a well trodden path taken by people like the Vintage Club and one or two private companies. Maxxis do make private label tyres like all tyre manufacturers I suspect one of the biggest problems ...

Re: want 16 inch tires ?
The reply below was received today from David Banks of Maxxis UK (david@maxxis.co.uk). I have sent a reply asking for an indication of the number of tyres that need to be sold to cover the cost of a mould. GT-UK Dear Geoff, Thank you for your enquiry. We regret although there is demand for this size...

The top picture is for a 750, the 2nd is for a 906, the 3rd and 4th are for a 750 and 906 resp. and appear to be the same.
