Re: Has anyone swapped in the carbs from a Monster 750?
Joe I have done it on my 750 sport. If you can, get 750 inlet tubes then everything will sit straight and look nicer and helps with what you intend to use for air filters. Big thing is to check the emulsion tubes. On a big twin (asume you will use 2nd hand carbs off a Duc - mine were a pair off a 9...

I apologize. I was out of line.
"Use the search feature" as a response is one of my hot buttons.
No excuses, my bad. It won't happen again.

Re: Has anyone swapped in the carbs from a Monster 750?
Take it easy. Well, then being more precice and exactly answering the titles question the answer would be a simple yes. But you wouldn`t be happy with that either. Numerous guys post questions without ever noticing there is a search function so therefore the hint. No intention to be a smart ass. Th...

Has anyone swapped in the carbs from a Monster 750?
After many years of fiddling, twiddling, and doing everything I can to get the Weber to behave, I'm done. It's time to tackle the carb swap on my 88 Paso 750. It's been suggested to me that using the carbs from a Monster 750 would be the easiest to source, and should be fairly straight-forward. Has ...

Re: Tail light not lighting up. Question on microswitch.
Those vampire taps were the source of the problem. They had pretty much severed the power and ground wires. I used a pair of butt connectors to bridge the gaps, and it seems to be fine now. I'll splice in with some wire and sauder in a few days, when I can borrow a saudering iron from my brother. Joe

Re: Tail light not lighting up. Question on microswitch.
OK, I think I've traced the problem to the connector on the right side of the bike, just aft of the regulator/rectifier: http://picasaweb.google.com/joseph.omalley/Desktop02#5386192497548395698 By reseating the plug, I can get both the running lights and the brake lights. And then they go out again....

Tail light not lighting up.
I just got an 88 Paso 750 back from the guy I sold it to 10 years ago, and it's great to have her back. I noticed today that activating the front brake does not light up the brake light, and the tail light is not on as the running/license plate light. The rear brake lights up the brake light just fi...
