Re: Weber DCNF fuel pressure issues
Brake hoses are recommended to be changed every 6-8 years (which noone does). The ones from the Paso are so old they can start to dissolve internally. In worst case and under hard braking the brakes then can lock up. Ideally noone is still using them. There's a date code on the brake hoses btw. You ...

Re: Weber DCNF fuel pressure issues
The answer to that question is in the parts catalog (of the Monster or TRX/TDM). Yes, connecting to one intake manifold is enough.

Re: Weber DCNF fuel pressure issues
I kept the return line but you probably don't need it. The Monster doesn't have one. You obviously didn't have a look at the parts catalog. :D There's a Dell'Orto main jet screwed into one exit of the Y-piece. It's size 120. Sometimes if the fuel lines incl. Y piece are replaced it disappears. Other...

Re: Rear brake pump leaking - 750 Sport
Your dealer is suggesting a brake pump with 40mm mounting hole distance to replace one with 50mm?
I'm not sure if the original was a PS11 or 12, but Stein Dinse has the first:

Re: Weber DCNF fuel pressure issues
The problem is that the fuel pump is too strong. You can try to reduce pressure by removing the jet that is installed in the Y-piece. It sits in the exit for the return hose. Next option would be to install a fuel pressure regulator. I personally don't see the sense in adding another item. Better ge...

Re: 750 Sport restoration project
According to the parts catalog the washer is a shim that exists in three different widths. So it's used for chain alignment. If your front and rear sprockets line up w/o it don't use it.

Re: fuel pump relay - relay w/ fuse
Antti, I never had any doubts in you. I just didn't think about that possibility. How would you do it? Remove the connector from the relay socket and connect the 'connection wire' to that?

Re: $100 907ie
If there's no output of relay 2 the new fuel pump won't work.

Re: 2 into 1 exhaust header
There are 2in1 headers for the older Pantah engines but they don't have the reversed rear cylinder so the exhaust port of the rear cylinder is to the front.

Re: fuel pump relay - relay w/ fuse
It's not hard as you can order it from Stein Dinse (with some delivery time) and you can find the one from Wittrin and Valeo (Italamec), too. No problem. ;) A normal dual outlet relay in combination with an inline fuse would work as well. The question is if one would want to cut into the w...

Re: $100 907ie
This topic continued a little bit offline.
What's so far established is that the first relay is ok and the second doesn't switch the voltage through. So it's either the relay or it's missing the ground signal from the Marelli Digiplex.

Re: 750 Sport restoration project
The seal may have been replaced by a previous owner. Ducati only used them a little later.
With the spring behind and the seal on the piston there should be minimal play. Specially the further in it sits.
Maybe the washer is needed because someone used a longer bolt?

Re: 750 Sport restoration project
Yes, that's the v-type seal. If you lift the lip you will see NA150 ... on the inner side. Too late now but scraping is best done with something wooden or plastic. Certainly it takes longer than using something made out of metal but there's no risk of scratching the surface. A bit of Acetone may wor...

Re: 750 Sport restoration project
Freudenberg was my assumption. My bad.
An oil seal has the seal lip on the inner side. That is a piston seal.
Unfortunately I don't find anything in that size.
You could try to ring Stein Dinse Australia https://dropbears.com/s/sda/contact.htm
