Re: Has Anyone tried the Shinko Tires?
I received my new Shinko tires today. This goes out to anyone running them now, did you encounter any issues the rear mounted? The tire looks like it is very narrow and is going to be difficult to seat the bead during install. The Avon tires I currently have on now, looked similar and I had to take ...

Re: Has Anyone tried the Shinko Tires?
Kinda, after getting the Paso squared away a couple years ago, I haven't had any major issues, or issues of any kind. This spring I intend on sending the forks out to Frank's to get new tubes because mine have some pitting. I figured since I would have it broken down, I might as well put new rubber ...

Has Anyone tried the Shinko Tires?
I have a set in the cart and am a bit hesitant to pull the trigger. I am really looking for some real world opinions. I put the Avons on a couple of years back, and, except for the rear tire looking huge with way too much sidewall, they perform better that the old tires. Now I want to get back to th...

Re: Dellorto or Mikuni TM?
A bit late to the party, but... My 88 750 has Mikuni TMs and they rock. The only issue is the delicate mounting angle to bring the bowl closer to level. These carbs with the NCR header make this bike sound mean. The Mikuni's are easy to tune. I am looking for a throttle cable for this setup, mine is...

Re: Looking for new/replacement helmet lock assembly with ke
Thanks for the info. I just bought the one in Italy. I'll never use the helmet lock but I feel better now that is complete.
Cheers,
Chris

Looking for new/replacement helmet lock assembly with key
I lost the key for my helmet lock and am looking for a new one to install. Anyone out there got one with a key that they are willing to part with?

Clutch Slave Cylinder
I recently ordered part number 19590023B, which is a replacement cylinder assemble from ProItalia. I received it today and it looks to me like it has a pressed in seal where the thrust bearing should be. Does anyone have any experience with this? It is blue seal and if you look where the mushroom sh...

Re: Paso 750 clutch plate sequence
I know this thread has been quiet for year, but does anyone know where I can procure a spare thick, single friction plate that is the last one in the pack, the one that sits against the retaining clip. I just put in a Barnett clutch kit and it looks like I'll have to reuse my single sided friction p...

Re: Mikuni T38 flatslide questions
I have TM38s on my 750 as well. I was getting fuel leaking from carbs after shutdown. I replaced needle valves on both carbs and replumbed the fuel system include a 12V fuel solendoid as close to the carbs as possible to present and head pressure from forcing fuel through carbs and onto the floor af...

Re: Avon Azaro on 750
Let me ask this another way. Does anyone out there have any short pieces of DID 520 Xring chain laying around that you could part with. I only need 2 links, I am not interested in master links or half links, I am looking for a couple links that have been cut from a chain to shorten it. Any, and all ...

Re: Avon Azarro on 750
I already have a master link and I do not need a half link. I need the center roller section of the chain, not the sideplate. Looks like I'll have to buy a DID roller chain and break it to get a roller link in order to put 2 master links together.

Re: Avon Azarro on 750
I have a couple breakers / rivet tools. I looked my motorcycle super store and see only master links (pins only), I have not seen any internal or roller links. In a gold chain, the gold is the outer pieces or sides, the internal pieces or roller links are typically black and are the pieces that I ne...

Avon Azaro on 750
I just completed putting the Avon Azaro tires recommended by Ducati Germany on my bike. I now need to lengthen my chain by one link. I have 2 master links but a desperately need the inside or roller link portion on the chain to make this work. My chain is a DID 520 Xring. Does anyone out there have,...

Re: Will 907ie rims fit on a Paso 750??
My investigation of 17" rims is not due to my desire to have 17" rims on a Paso. My investigation is to try and find a ongoing way to keep my Paso rolling. I am going to order up some recommended 16" tires. Thanks everyone for your comments.
