Re: Sport dilemma

It´s raining outside so a good time to post something on the internet... I Decided to go for the supersport, found a SS900 in good condition so I bought it. Since the bike is going to be a caferacer projectbike, in the style of those Ducati sportclassic series, I thought that the SS is less rare and...

Re: Limited Edition 750 sport

a really nice bike.

I especially like the paint scheme, kinda makes me wish I had money to buy one particular S750 here in Finland.

Sport dilemma

I have a small dilemma: I've got an opportunity to buy a 1990 Sport 750, it's in pretty good shape, rear wheel is converted to 17" and all original parts included. My other option is a 1997 SS 750. I'm having a hard time choosing between these two. The sport has 57000 km's on it and the SS has ...

Re: Monster 600 carbs on a P750?

went and bought the carbs+manifolds anyway, not sure if I ever will need them, but it´s nice to have options...

Oh yeah, I kinda came to an agreement with the guy selling the Sport. So pretty soon I will be having two ducatis in my stable...

Re: Monster 600 carbs on a P750?

As for the S750, I am assuming you are talking about a 750 Sport? How does it run right now? Cheers, Phil Haven´t tried it yet, I only saw the add on a local "motorcycles for sale" type of webpage. Since I got my Paso up and running with new tires last year it seems like a good time for a...

Re: Monster 600 carbs on a P750?

well there´s another reason for me to ask this to be honest. I´ve got my eyes on a S750 with the original weber and if I do purchase it I might be wanting to do conversion for it. since I don´t have any experience with the weber I might expect difficulties with it. after all, why would people do con...

Monster 600 carbs on a P750?

For starters my Paso is already equipped with 2 dell´orto carburetors with original paso intakes (I think?) the carbs are anyway installed in opposite directions, the other one facing front and the other one facing back. Now I would have the possibility to purchase a pair of intake manifolds an carb...

Re: New member from Finland

By the way, do you have any idea regarding how many Paso's still "in action" here in Finland? Well there´s another Finn here (not lately however), Antti. He owns three. Two 907ies and a P750 so be happy you found one. He probably has the others :) G. There´s at least three 750´s more (two...

Re: new tires on paso

@ angelix: i´m pretty sure the oil level is not an issue, since I poured in/measured the oil myself. The manual says 350cc and that´s what I measured. @G: I´ve been wondering the same thing myself. The fork tubes were slid as up as possible (so that the top of the tubes touched the handlebar mounts)...

Re: New member from Finland

Welcome to the forum. So it was you who bought that one. I remember it being for sale for some time by the previous owner, who finally took it to the store you bought it from and traded it for something else. I thought about making a purchase of the bike myself, but luckily for you the distance was ...

Re: new tires on paso

OK, it´s time for a little update since my Paso is running again. What I did was serviced the front shocks (new oil & dust seals), replaced the front brake pads, got a new speedometer-thingy (the one that makes the cable rotate) and also replaced the speedo-cable with a fresh one. BUT! The front...

Re: picture thread - I have no words ...

G it´s a dell´orto Just googled it today by accident. The machine is modified by this small(?) finnish company http://jlmeccanica.blogspot.com/ they´re building a thing called 996 Compressore, I´m definately going to stay tuned. Quite an interesting project indeed. Most of the info is in Finnish, bu...
