Hi all.I came across a real nice right hand side panel for sale locally so i thought I'd pick it up .You never know when you need a spare. Cheap to boot! Guy picked it up in Tokyo years ago. Got it home and noticed it was fibreglass . The ones on my bike are a black plastic (under the paint). Looks ...

Re: New Paso Owner
Last night I picked up ECU and other bits. Changed the oil,cam belts, plugs and wires . Put in fresh gas and it fired right up! Sounds amazing with those cans. Turns out the motor is from a 93 SS and is within 200 kms of the original motor. Quite an interesting life the bike has had. But well looked...

Re: New Paso Owner
Well, I've been contacted by the previous owner that confirmed some things. micklm ,you were correct. The motor and cases are from a 750 SS. He doesn't recall the year but it was 91\93. It has high compression pistons and headwork that was completed in Stuttgart, Germany. The heads and the carb conv...

Re: New Paso Owner
It is a bit of "odd duck" . engine serial number is in the 4000's. I transferred ownership yesterday and we have to get a "vehicle info package". It has 2 registered previous owners in this province. I'm going to try and contact them to see if they have any knowledge of the mods....

Re: New Paso Owner
It appears to be a 750 ( engine serial starts with ZDM748 A2C).Definately a wet clutch motor. Sorry I haven't gotten pics up yet. I'm still trying to clean up all the grime. From what I see it looks like a straight bolt in. No odd brackets , spacers ,etc.

Tire /wheel option
Some food for thought considering the tire selection available. Has any one considered this before? There is a place in California called Kosman Specialties. http://www.kosman.net. Click on the Wheel weld up form. They can increase diameter and width. You would end up with a 17" X 5.5" tha...
