1990 Paso 750 for sale in Kent, UK - NOW SOLD

NOW SOLD After much humming and haaing I have finally admited to myself that the time really has come to part with my nice Paso 750. I just don't have the time to run and ride more than one bike. The Paso is a '90 model and is in good condition for its age. I've had it a few years and have very much...

Re: removing front wheel spindle - what size key???

I paid for someone to swap the tyres and balance the wheels but isnt taking the wheels off a pretty basic bit of spannering? I only needed to check the key sizes as dont have the original toolkit and the manual doesnt say a thing. Once I had them it was pretty straightforward job. Interestingly I fo...

anyone want the old Michelins A59/M59 off my Paso 750?

Wheels are off having the new Shinko boots fitted. If anyone wants the old Michelin A59/M59 off my Paso 750 you are welcome to have them for free, gratis. They are old (obviously!!) and showing some slight cracking to the side walls in places but the rear certainly has a reasonable amount of tread l...

removing front wheel spindle - what size key???

My new Shinko tyres have arrived and now need to get the wheels off. Can anyone tell me what size key I need to undo the front spindle and is it Allen key or Torqx? Nothing I have at the moment fits. Anything I should know about removing rear wheel, special tools, sizes etc This is my first actual f...

Re: Wanted: rear light including indicators for Paso 750

I hadnt realised they were so rare. I should have bought the duff one a while back as there was an article recently in Classic Motorcycle Mechanics on how to fabricate 'new' lenses for broken ones... Yes I could go for the stem blinkers but I do like the streamlined look of everything being containe...

Wanted: rear light including indicators for Paso 750

My Paso 750 has rear indicators on stalks but the rubber stalk on the left one has cracked and perished. So seems like the opportunity to convert to having the indicators integrated into the rear lamp. Much neater. So if anyone has one to sell please let me know. Needs to be in good condition else b...

Re: Has Anyone tried the Shinko Tires?

New boots on order from Pneus online. Cant believe that when first looked at Golden Tyres people were asking £340 a pair and now have bought a pair of Shinkos for £151 delivered. Happy Days! :-) hope to have them by weekend, then it's off for MOT and bike (finally) back on the road. Roll on summer :-)

Re: 16 inch Shinko Tyres for Paso

Has anyone yet found a supplier for these in the UK? And at a price similar to the US price of $96 Front/ $110 Rear?

but at present rate of consumption will last well into the next millennium :) Of course, on the basis that I doubt that any of us will be around in the next millenium, the best course of action woudl be for you to sell me a pair from that lovely pile of Michelins and I can help wear them out for yo...

150/80 or 180/60 tyres Is there a definitive answer??

The GoldenTyre option of 130/60 and 160/60 are pretty expensive (would cost about £330 plus delivery to import a set to the UK) so am looking at going the alternative route of a 130/70 front (and raise the mudguard) plus a new rear tyre. I know the size options and that there are lots and lots of di...

750 Paso fork MOT issues

Just been told that, to get through MOT, need to replace fork seals. My local friendly (Honda) mechanic doesnt want to take on the job because he is a bit worried about the possible complexity of marzocchi forks. How straightforward a job is it in reality? Am pretty competent mechanic though time po...
