Re: New tyres

hi all just got off the phone from our local ducati guru. He will do my tyres with an Avon vp2 130/70 and avon cobra 180/60 rear. He will raise the front guard and lightly shave the side wall of the rear to fit. Has done quite a few with this combo and no change to sprockets/chain is required with ...

Re: Avon Azaro-ST on the Paso 906

Another point thay "may" have made a slight difference between bikes is the welding on the inside of the swingarm at the front. Some welds may be higher especially at the start or finish, this may be a few mill difference but it all adds up and sanding the welds flat will give a bit more s...

Re: Dunlop D250 180/60R 16 fitted

Re: Dunlop D250 180/60R 16 fitted

I don't want to get my head bit of being a noobie and all that, but you CAN shave a bit of the tyre edge without compromising the safety. OK there is a limit as to how far but upto 5 mill is fine. I used to race in the old TZ 250 and lc 350 proddie races both on track and road, when modern (and stic...

Re: New member

Im In Leigh Grt Manchester, yep it's certainly different to what Im used to....not half as good but somehow twice as enjoyable as modern stuff. I have an Aprilia and had TL 1000s so it's not just the V twin thing either. On a side note I do find myself actually talking to the Paso, never done this t...

New member

Hi all, New member here from UK. Have a few bikes but my partners late husband had a 906 which had been stored for 14 years since he had a fatal accident on a TL 1000s. Thought it was time to give the old girl a freshen up and it's now on the road again ;) I have been looking at this forum for month...
