Woke my sticky Oil Pressure Switch up by poking a small screwdriver up it’s orifice to ensure the spring was OK and then belted the little sod on each facet of the hexagon. Working OK at the moment….

Starter packed up 10 miles from home at the local hospital. Bumped it down the road by the heart unit ( handy, I thought ) and home…haven’t done that for nigh on 50 years. After replacing the disintegrated internal & external insulation I managed to re-assemble the starter body 180◦ off - result...
