907 fork oil air gap
What is the correct air gap for the front forks? My 907 owners manual says 160 mm and the workshop manual says 180 mm.

Re: Rear turn signal source - stock or euro lens
fuel leak is probably a rusty tank leak, after sitting up that long, that is why my tank is black!

I tried the plastic mounting ring, clips did not fit into my tank mount properly, refitted my old one.

Re: A broken fuel pump....
euromotoelectrics very good and responsive. I have one of their pumps, fits and operates as stock. They respond very quickly to any issues. Purchased my "latest" reg/rec from them about a year ago and is functioning. They have a kit which contains flexible in-tank fuel line which I have in...

blue wire out of left side handle bar switch
I can not identify this wire, was connected to frame tube just down from the re/rectifier mount. Is this a ground wire? It is blue not black, and connects into the left side handle bar switch. Diagram does not show it or I just can not see well enough at 68!

ADC 6000 regulator/rectifier vs Ducati new and improved
I have replaced the reg./rec. four times in 28k miles, this includes the original , and am again facing this never ending issue. I have done the recommended upgrades such as 10 ga. wires from stator to regulator, grounding the regulator case etc. I have used Electro Sport and Electrics units, and ha...

Re: FUEL INJECTOR CLEANER: FUEL ADDITIVE
Laddie, a word of caution, the polyester epoxy resin you are referring to is the same product used in Norton Commando glass tanks. The new fuel formulations are destroying these tanks after just a few miles, per the British bike forum, and my first hand experience. One of my customers now has a nos ...

Antti, I purchase most of my Hella's for about $80.00 a pair which includes mounts and adjusters. This is far bellow retail. They are easy to wire using a 30 amp relay and proper guage wire. The HID is not a H-9, but a Zenon or something, not sure. I know nothing about the ST 2 lighting. I also have...

Blackduck, Hellas are separate high/low beams, wattage is 65 H-9 bulbs which gives aprox. a 50 percent increase in ilumination, but sure seems to be more actual light on the road. The real trick for 907's would to use the single 90mm HID mod. that contains both the high/low beam, and uses only 35 wa...

Gert, to the left and right of 90mm round Hella modulars inside headlight bracket. Tight fit. Used some racer-boy small air scoops w/home made rock guards. Functional. She is in a state of disassembly at present after encounter with former spousal unit's Oldsmobile, on a cold, wet, dark mountain bac...
