the piston rings look very dear if they charge for single piston.
if i have no choice i'll probable get a set of vw 88mm rings and rectify them to right size.

source for piston rings or piston set
does anybody know a good source for piston rings or piston sets in europe which are decently priced? also for the top conrod bushing? i've seen a couple of cars that have 88mm pistons but the oil ring is too thick (5mm, 2mm more than the original paso 750) and i can't rectify it as the other top ones.

i had a similar issue with the seat lock but for a different reason ( i lost the key) and manage to remove the seat by removing the tail light lens and manually press the small lock pin and pull the back the seat pin.
it is a little to do all of this but it worked for me.
