Bike is now going great! Quirky starting procedure fixed by pulling kill switch apart and cleaning contacts. New reg / rec from electrosport fitted without a problem. All earths checked. Long 90 degree elbows between carbs and filters. We re routed the fuel lines with a T back to the tank only to fi...

Thanks for the replies.
I'm a little confused about the third wire to the stator and where that joins up to on the aftermarket reg / rec unit. I'll take some pics today if I get the chance.

Maybe my 750 has the electrics from an older pantah or something? That would explain the older coils you pointed out earlier in this thread.

I can now confirm it had the standard Marzocchi M1B front forks and standard rear shock, Mustang505. Ended up going for a new Ohlins rear (DU 321, modified to suit). 2k all up, front and rear. Felt amazing for the 200m i rode it before.... A new issue had arisen and it seems the bike needs a new reg...

I probably would grab them, if i hadn't just had my stock forks rebuilt! Really, I was hoping those wheels (in the first post) would be an easy swap. They would have been but alas they are gone.
