Disassembled Ducati Paso with Monster M900 engine in Italy

Dear all, it's 10 years that I've been missing from this forum ... in these years I got married, had 2 children, bought 3 Ducatis and started rebuilding my Paso with a fresh new monster M900 engine (20k km only). Now I am moving again, this time to Singapore. It's not around the corner and I will no...

I quote a very interesting (and long) article from http://www.ducati.net/faq.cfm?id=44 : ______________________________________________ Light weight flywheels - What do you think? submitted by Larry Kelly, Alex Ortner The following is Larry Kelly's excellent response to the question below. I think i...

Gerhards scanned the workshop manual and here's the link. Thanks, but unfortunately this is the "workshop" (or "service") manual, not the "owner's" manual. The owner's manual is like this one (for Paso 907): http://ducatipaso.org/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=get...

I have another question about the odometer cable. I can't find it on the parts catalogue and I don't know how it should be. Mine is here: http://img216.imageshack.us/img216/8227/contakmeq9.th.jpg It seems a unique block. I mean: all the parts in the picture seem blocked as one piece, and it turns as...

Thanks, Francesco. To all: here are a comparison between the original silent block (part #36, on the left) and the replacement I found (on the right). http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/1244/bumpersgi4.th.jpg Here in Italy, the original part seems to cost 6€, the other one is made by ARIETE and cost...

dashboard/instruments panel rebuild

I am about to rebluid my dashboard and I have a lot of questions to ask because I don't know how it should be in original Paso. Let's have a look.... http://img341.imageshack.us/img341/6230/cupolinoxt9.th.gif 1) First question: how is the panel (#42) fixed to the dashboard? Mine is not origin...

I have no hurry, because I completely disassembled the Paso and it will take a loooooong time to rebuild it... I have many parts to work on (fairingholder, center stand, tachometer, brake calipers, forks, rear shock...), so I can wait for the drawing. I check if there is a workshop able to made it, ...

Please be patient with my poor english  but I would like to check if I understood well. I understand that the drawing represents differente views of the same component. http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/3199/906headstockx2commentuq7.th.jpg Is this a unique component or is it made by two diffe...

If you need a full engineering drawing, let me know. I can have one of my slaving engineer draft it up for you. Wow, it would be great! Actually I am waiting for some dealers which I asked for used parts, if they won'f find anything I surely will build this component. In that case, a good drawing w...

Now I know do you mean with "not so cheap"!

I went to a Ducati service and it checked in Ducati, but it is not available. He suggested me:
1) to change the Paso
2) to check for used parts
3) to build it by myself

So... does anyone has a used ring nut at a reasonable price?
