Re: Best voltalge regulator suggestions

I have an Electrex RR51 which according to Electrex is the replacement RR for the 907. Its a 5 wire job, (one red, one green, one white, two yellow.) The one on the bike is a 6 wire(2 yellow, 2 green and 2 red/white), assuming its original. Does anyone know how to wire this to the bike? thanks for y...

Centrestand ????

My bike has no centrestand, I assume it was removed to fit the non standard exhaust. Its annoying mucking about with a paddock stand when the little handle is there looking at me symbolizing the way things once were!! I'm thinking of buying a second hand one and fitting it up, maybe have to knock a ...

Re: Looking for known good set of 907ie throttle bodies

you could also try Gowanlochs in Australia. Ian used to have brand new sets for sale out of his shipping containers of spares. Maybe still has a set or two?

Re: Oils ain't oils?

Huh , oils may be getting more expensive ..... but so are engine parts and mechanic's labour . Motorbike engines are a bit different to cars in that they have the gearbox running in the same oil .....which "wears" out the oil faster , so service intervals need to be a bit shorter than car...

Re: Oils ain't oils?

Been running Delo 400 in a KTM 640 for a while with no problems. I generally use bike specific oils, but like you say, the cost is getting silly. I mostly change oil on time served, not Kms, as I have a few bikes , so I am starting to think, any old shit would probably do in dry clutch bikes.

Re: 907 Starter Solenoid

I recently replaced mine with a new OE item, found the white plug is a firm fit on the new solenoid? Time will tell I suppose.

Re: Just registered to the site

two miles from start up, the throttle issue could be the rad hose expanding and causing the linkage not to fully return. I rebuilt the clutch slave on mine not long ago, dont remember there being any difficulty with the piston?

Fuel flow issue

Had the bike apart tank off etc.. to do the fork seals and now when I turn on the ignition the fuel pump primes and pressurised fuel leaks from the front outlet on the tank where the hose mounts before it goes to the injector. It blows past the hose clamp. Have checked there is no fuel from the retu...

Re: Fork oil level

more to this, I have ridden the beast and all is well, but the forks seem a little harsh. Scrolling through other threads am I correct in the idea that 10WT oil in the left leg and 5WT in the right might improve things? I currently am running 10W in both. thanks guys

Re: 907 spark plug wires

I replaced all the leads on my Guzzis with Silicon HT leads. Just purchase what you need and cut to length. Screw on new caps each end, instantly improved starting, been on for 10 years or more now. Its on the todo list for the 907.

Re: Starter solenoid mod

so with this mod, (Im having the same problem) have you just soldered the wire directly to the terminals or did you solder the original connectors removed from the plastic housing? thanks.
