front fender

I have a 1987 Paso 750. I am having an issue with the front tire (Golden Tyre compay) rubbing on the inside of the very back of the front fender. I checked the tire pressure and it is correct. I could adjust the tire alignment but it rubs on both side but slightly more on the left side. Any suggesti...

Re: '87 Paso 750 gas tank grommets

If anyone needs new gas tank grommets, I just got mine from Ducati Omaha in only 4 days. The part # 036191730 for $1.99 each. I don't have the time to search 100's of grommet merchants with 1,000's of grommets hoping to find the right size and shape like some people I've heard from. The ones I got f...

'87 Paso 750 gas tank grommets

While I'm sitting here in Boston waiting for the snow to melt off enough to go riding, I decided to fix the dent in my gas tank that happened when the Paso fell over in the garage and landed on a floor jack. I have been missing one of the tank rubber grommets that the quarter panels snap into since ...

Re: LED dashboard conversion

I put the LED 5050 SMD T5 bulbs in my '87 Paso dash and they didn't work very well. The turn signals lit up on both sides but do flash when turn signal activated. The warning lights didn't work at all until I pulled the LED bulbs out and bent the wires in opposite side they came on. Now they seem to...

Re: And, it finally happened ...

If you want to match the paint, take the bike or a panel to an automotive paint store. They can use a spectrometer to match the paint perfectly. You can order new decals from England and are not that expensive. I think I paid about $80 US for the entire set but you can order a specific one and just ...

Parts

Does anyone know where I can get front caliper bolts, fairing bolts, well nuts and rubber grommets for the bottom of the fuel tank for my '87 Paso? I finally got it all rewired and running great. Now I should replace the parts lost over two years and a move. I appreciate all the help I have been giv...

Re: Wiring on 750 Paso

Thank you both Paso Grand Poo-bah and Mc tool. You just game me an "ah ha" moment with your information and now I see the way my Paso should be wired and why I was having so much trouble trying to figure out the wiring diagram that I have which is in color that I got from this web. I love ...

Re: Wiring on 750 Paso

Thanks Streetsurfer, I appreciate the info but that is the standard wiring diagram which shows the two green and black wires connecting to this three post connector and then one of these two wires goes to one side of the horn and the grey wire going to the other. I have attached the grey wire to one...

Wiring on 750 Paso

In this photo I am wondering where this is suppose to be attached?

This picture shows the three pole connector with various wires but which goes to which post on the connector and what wires go to the horn?

Golden Tyres

Has anyone else put the Golden Tyres on their Paso 750. I just put my '87 Paso back together and found that the front tire rubs against the front fender on one side and has very little clearance on the other. I am thinking of putting a spacer on the front mount to move the fender up a bit. Any sugge...
