Re: clutch slave
I've just lubed the clutch splines on my BMW K75 - a job that's supposed to be done every 20k miles or so. It's a dry clutch and the grease must only be applied sparingly to the actual splines. The lube recommended by BMW is Staburags NBU 30. I had real problems getting hold of this in the UK, but I...

Re: worth of 90 750 sport?
When Ducati released the 750 Sport alongside the 851 in 1988 it was pretty obvious that the Sport was a budget buy parts-bin special, albeit using some pretty nice parts (remember - it was a year before they even gave it a proper paint job instead of blue stickers!). Contemporary reviewers made crit...

Here's a low mileage pair in New Hampshire that appear to be the exactly right item:

Re: 750 Sport restoration project
Apologies for adding to the thread creep... Here's what I've been putting together for the past few years. Exhaust headers and brake lines added since the pic was taken. Might have it finished before the rainy season. http://www.ducatipaso.org/myPix/Andrew2/ea724a34-5557-49a3-a902-cfb0cbf05680_zps7c...

Re: Ducati 750 F1, 750 88/89 Sport, 89 SS Indicators 1 Pair
As Gowanloch advertise these items for sale at $75 AU, http://ducati-gowanloch.com/catalog/067599400-indicator-p-2535.html why would anyone wait until they go on ebay to spend twice as much? My 750 came with tiny aftermarket indicators fitted. I looked at the prices (and non-availability) of the ori...

750 Paso workshop manual
Thanks Phil for your post - you reminded me I had this in the garage! Paso 750 manual. In good overall condition with the occasional grease mark. Loose leaf and sits in a four ring binder (not supplied). No idea what it's worth, but thought I'd offer it here before it goes on ebay. Make an offer! Po...

Re: red 907ie on ebay uk
One look at the seller's history tells you he's a bit of a dealer in second-hand tat. Nothing wrong with that, but a paper trail of invoices, previous MOTs and a bit of history from a previous owner would go a long way to reassure me that what I'm buying is genuine. My ebay nightmare was a Toyota La...

Well they'll never be desirable that's for sure but their loss - our gain. I just can't see why . . .. It's the covered-up look that was popular in the '80s but has fewer admirers these days. I had a CBR1000F that shared similar styling: http://www.cbr600.ru/img/about/cbr3.jpg and that bike looked ...

Weber manifold - 750 Sport
Hi, after removing the Weber from my 750 Sport and fitting Dell'Ortos I have been left with the small manifolds that sit on each cylinder head, the two rubber connectors and the large two-into-one casting that sits underneath the actual carb. These are of no use to me and are available to the first ...
