Re: Marzocchi M1R front fork - emulators (Race Tech)
don't know anything about who did this to my m1r fork - I got it this way. Seems to work well enough, tho... Can't say the same about the rear suspension. Its a weird Fournales? air shock. Really harsh rebound, but I don't have a clue how to adjust it

Re: blinkers stopped working
Capacitor? I've never seen a flasher unit with a capacitor in it. Usually just a wire wound round a bi-metallic strip which opens and closes a set of points to turn the flashers on and off. Maybe your's is an electronic one. ehhh, I almost never know what I'm talking about... installed this: HELLA ...

Re: blinkers stopped working
well, I just changed the chain - maybe that did it!
after looking at the schematics of the internals of the flasher, I'm thinking the capacitor is shorted. I've ordered a univesal replacement and will see how that goes - thanks!

blinkers stopped working
Hey all! - a quick question: all 4 of my blinkers and dash indicators stopped working suddenly. The flasher unit makes a noise when both left, right and cancel are activated from the switch. ground is good and there is 12 volts to at least one of the pins on the flasher. Am I looking for a short som...

Re: who still makes a new rear shock?
http://www.worksperformance.com/pdf/app_guide/street.pdf Got one of these on my monster - I've been very happy with it and will replace the weird-ass air shock on my paso with a Works if I ever get around to it. I have a Fournales (French made, I think?) which dampens well, but the rebound is a litt...

Re: charging lite
yes, the plastic on the connectors was melted and the contacts were corroded-looking. I cleaned the contacts and replaced the connectors and went for a ride. Same thing! After about 10 mins. the charging light came on, then winked out after a few and stayed off. I'd like to just write it off as quir...

charging lite
lately, every time I take a ride the charging light comes on after 10 min. or so, stays on for 10 or 15 min and then goes out - doesn't come on again until next time I ride. Once I pulled over when it was on and put a meter on the battery - seemed to be charging fine, about 14.5 V or so I think. hmm...

Re: Speedo drive tab washer threw in the towel ...
I'm hoping this tab washer @ BevelHeaven will fit. Anyone have another resource, just in case?
that's the same one I ordered and it worked fine.

Re: 16 inch Shinko Tyres for Paso
???
I've recieved lots of tires over the years, and none of them were ever boxed. I can't even think of a reason why they would be.
BTW, I've got a thousand or so miles on my Golden Tyres so far, and have been quite pleased with them.

Re: 750 Timing Belts
I ordered a set of these yesterday:

I've been dealing with Ca Cycleworks for years, and using exact fit belts on my monster for some time - I highly recommend both.
Glad to see everybody is back...
