Re: 750 Weber woes - same same but different?
Sorry, forgot to point out that the vacuum gauge lines should be connected to the ports on each side of the carburetor, just above the outlet manifold. In the picture from the post above, one of the ports (and the blocking screw) can be seen just below the accelerator pump cam. The other one is in t...

Re: 750 Weber woes - same same but different?
The idle mixture screws are fuel regulators. They screw in to make the mixture leaner. They are very sensitive, so use small increments. The simplest way to adjust the idle is to set the idle speed to around 1000 rpm using the throttle stop, then pull one spark plug wire, adjust the idle mixture for...

Re: 750 Weber woes - same same but different?
Try cleaning the idle jets first, and run the bike for a while after the cleaning. The idle jets, being so small, tend to gum up when the bike has been sitting for a while. If that doesn't seem to help then adjust the idle mixture on both cylinders. I know that my bike can be sensitive to idle adjus...

Re: Running on one (sometimes)
I can't be sure for the 906, but when I installed a pressure regulator on my 750, it ran best at just below 3 psi - around 2.8 -2.9 psi.

Re: Carb tuning HELP
You may have accumulated some ethanol sludge in the float bowl, which can block the idle circuit, since the holes and passages are so small. Try removing the idle jets and carriers, and spraying carb cleaner through the openings. You may also try adding one of the popular fuel treatments for ethanol...

dcnf44_back _view.JPG Hopefully the attached image is visible - the screws circled in blue are the idle mixture screws, the areas circled in red are the idle air bypass screw housings (screws are recessed within). Hope that helps! Start with both bypass screws closed, and the mixture screws about 2...

Re: Cush drive question.
Try searching for "loose sprocket bolts", there is at least one thread about the issue. Bottom line - replace them all, use shoulder bolts/screws (preferrably high-tensile steel) with a shoulder that extends into the sprocket carrier, use locking nuts, and Loctite them. They're loosening b...

Re: Front end setup and other bits of info needed
One thing to remember about the M1R - the left fork tube controls compression damping, the right fork tube controls rebound damping.
Try 5 wt fork oil in the left tube, and 10 wt in the right, I like the results that I got for both compression and rebound with the rebound control set to position 2.

Re: Where ??????????????
www.bevelheaven.com is a good source for a variety of gasket kits, master cylinder rebuild kits, brake calipers, master cylinders, timing belts, etc. They stock quite a few parts for the Pantah vintage bikes, including the Paso (especially the 750). Thay don't have OEM brake rotors, but they sell fu...

Re: weber what if ?
No, my bike is not a California model. I just found (at least on my bike) that the progression circuit operated more smoothly, and there was less lean hesitation on small throttle openings when the 0.60s were used. However, my idle mixture screws are almost 3.25 turns open. When I tried 0.57 idle je...

Re: Master cylinder rebuild kit???? 750 Paso
Bevelheaven.com has online shopping, and stocks Brembo rebuild kits for both the clutch an dbrake master cylinders (I have used both items, they are packaged in Brembo packaging and worked as expected). On the Bevelheaven site, look under Brake related parts, then under rebuild kits and parts. The c...

Re: Goldentyre Purchase in USA
Good news! Goldentyre has responded that they will ship the individual tire sets to each person's address, once the pallet has been received in the U.S. Each pallet will contain 12 tires, so if the pricing is acceptable to everyone (once I get it) I will order two pallets, since there are at least 1...

Re: Goldentyre Purchase in USA
I am currently waiting for a response from Goldentyre on the cost of a pallet delivery. Once I have that price, I can get shipping cost to other states.
Please be patient, I will post the costs when I have them. I guess we've waited this long for correct tires, what's another week or two!
