2x 907ie in the Netherlands

Dear all, After long deliberation I have decided to put a part of my collection of 907ie's up for sale, as I am not using them anywhere near as much as I should. Bike 1: Red, 65000 km. Full maintenance a year ago at 64500 km including all fluids, filters and belts. A great runner, but unfortunately ...

Re: New Timing Belts and tensioning

Hi there, I don't have a lot of info on the belt apart from me preferring the frequency method as I believe it's most accurate. With regards to the M1R seals (and other parts in the forks like bushes and dustcovers), they are the same as BMW K100 (16V) and K1100 parts. All numbers you need are in th...

Re: Tires

Hi Krisstek, The official sizes are 170/60/17 rear and 120/70/17 front. I am aware of people (including myself) fitting 180/55/17 at the rear, but this can slightly rub against the chain if the wheel alignment is not spot on. I have not heard of 120/60/17 being fitted on the front though. Luckily, i...

Re: From where, new front fork (M1R) OIL SEAL's for 907 ???

Hi Antti,

They are IDENTICAL to the oil seals for BMW K100 (16V) and K1100 models. I fitted a pair last year...

There's a topic in the 907IE Tech FAQ that has the partnumber (it is in the first post from PasoLloyd). Good luck!

Re: tank breather

Hi J,

Not a tank breather, I'm afraid... A known issue on the earlier tanks, where they start to leak around the front centre support (the small tack welds that fix the round support to the tank)...

Whereabouts in the Netherlands are you?

Cheers,
Bas

Re: 907IE Radiator Hoses

Hi gents,

What happened to the original indicated price of 160 Pounds and later even 120 Pounds? At the current price I simply can't afford it at the moment, so sorry, but will not be ordering anytime soon...

Cheers,
Bas

Re: 907IE Radiator Hoses

Hi Dark Matter and Andy,

As mentioned before, count me in for at least one set, but probably two, maybe even three, depending on price.

Cheers!

Re: Need fork leg help! 907ie.

With both a '91 and a '92 in the garage, it is easy to compare. The results are: '91 Distance from centre of axle to bottom calliper lug: 110 mm '92 Distance from centre of axle to bottom calliper lug: 120 mm It does make sense as the brake discs on the '92 are 20 mm bigger diameter, so 10 mm larger...

Re: 907IE Radiator Hoses

Hi Andy, First of all: Congratulations on getting married!

Hope it all went well. Any news on the hoses? The restoration of my Duc is nearing completion and I could do with a set of hoses...

Thanks!

Re: 907IE Radiator Hoses

New to the forum, but been riding a 907 since 2007. And currently restoring number 2. Oh, and there's another one waiting to be done. In short: Count me in for a set (or 2 depending on final price).

Cheers!!
