Welcome to the forum birdduck, I have an 88 750 Paso (light blue) and she has been pretty consistent with the Champions. Like you I was a bit skeptical as being a kid who grew up around performance bikes in the US, Champions werent ever the choice of my tuners, but as the 750 had them on it to start...

BTW, I did contact these guys for parts regarding the little fire incident with my 906. Any parts you know of in your area?

BTW....I think I'm going to go with the dark blue paint. My 750 Paso is light blue, my 999 is red and my 900 SS/CR is black....so just to have a little of everything......dark blue it shall be! LOL

Well and unfortunate update to my 906 project. Got her titled and insured and on the way in to town.....shop class of all places.....when she caught fire and burned the rear right side (panel and taillight, battery box, battery, rear fender and wiring harness). Sucked as I didnt have a fire extingui...

I was initially planning on blue but I mean it IS a Ducati and traditionally they are red. LOL

My bad, I'll buy a vowel for $5 and hit the ferry on over. LOL Funny that my friend I learned the "OZ" from was a Doctor as well. haha So I'm imagining there are a lot of great twisties over there in NEW ZEALAND with the mountains and all. You guys have any video's on You Tube or anything?...

Ya I hear that around here as well but its a wife that doesnt understand the beauty of a older musclecar. haha I'm full time college student now and am in auto shop class, currently rebuilding a 1995 Mustang 5.0. I did a VIN check and nothing came up insurance (total or claim) wise. When I looked her over (before trading), the frame, forks and everything looked straight...she drove straight and nothing seemed warped (rims, rotors). Great rescue!! I just picked up a 90 906 from a college kid yesterday and she has a blue (lighter metallic) tank with black fairings. LOL Any idea how I can determine which was the actual stock color?
