G'day davo, by look of it coolant bottle is same as 906 if it is how much and I'm pretty sure your seat will fit my 906 also. How much for both and where are you in Aus. I'm nsw Dubbo.

Done the wiring uprgrade off the ignition seems ok really hot day yesterday and didn't miss a beat, she maybe sorted .. Thanks everybody for feed back and advice really appreciated. Love riding this bike just cleaned and polished her up now looking a million dollars. Going to try and post some pics ...

Good result today, cleaned all terminals again, taped up exposed wires at back of switch plug ( yes will be done properly I won't leave tape there ) also taped plug to ignition switch and did 90 ks without a problem. So maybe all these issues were bad condition and when hit certain rev's it was enou...

Nope shit itself again today, 20 kms . Has to be electrics, either try a throttle position sensor or sell the bloody thing. The digi plex box was stinking hot when I got back from my failed attempt again. Just seems strange yesterday 90 ks today 20.lane1feathers wrote:Still going good Greg?

Hi all, well story so far, I've pulled carb and cleaned it all, ran new fuel lines ( no restrictions or kinks) actually ran for a whole 35 Kim's yesterday at average of 100 kph, before it started to misfire and then just dies, pull over let it sit for 20 seconds then away it goes again. Call out to all 906 owners with original weber carby could someone please have a look and tell where the breather pipe ( fuel vapour pipe ) from the fuel tank goes to. The sticker on my tank says its supposed to go to the canister, in workshop manuals there is a reference to it also. Mine just hangs...

Nope wasn't that...... But I've found in the fuel line at the t piece there is a restrictor that goes back to the tank, well this has been popping out out t piece where it's supposed to seat and working its way down the fuel line and cocking itself side ways, I've tinkered with it so it shouldn't mo...

G'day guys, well what a total cluster f#%k, while I've been trying to sort out the misfire issue I've had tank off airbox etc etc and I replaced all fuel lines while it was apart, pull out crank sensor all looked good checked with ohms meter and running magnet over it and yep all ok, checked plug le...

G'day mate, you have come across this before ? And yes can ride for 10 15 mins and then once it's got to a nice temp it then misfires badly and if I hold throttle at the 3500 rpm's where it's misfiring it then just shuts down. It looks like its been changed before I bought it ( seems very new a shin...
