Re: rough running when holding throttle steady below 3500rpm
Just an up date. I have started pulling the bike apart and found what appeared to be an oil leak. the oil was black and very light. on closer inspection it looks like it has come from the exhaust manifold on the rear cylinder I removed both plugs and the rear cylinder plug looked a bit oily compared...

Re: rough running when holding throttle steady below 3500rpm
Cheers for the advice I did the tank filter and hoses. But funny you say plug leads only a guy at my local gym said it sounds like a plug gone down. So maybe best to look at leads and coils first .

Hi all finally got the bike running this year after 12 years lay up worked on it all last year tank hoses. Injectors. Plugs. It runs very well when cold but once warm it is very stuttery when held at low throttle between 1000 to 4000rpm it also stalls regularly when dropping off the throttle. The bi...

Re: Still cold start probs think it coolant sensor
Cheers for all the help . I was working on it last night and found it kicks up pretty fast if I hold the throttle full open when cranking but stalls just after starting. repeat this and she then fires up and runs fine . I will check what's been suggested by the posts on here . Once again thanks all ...

Still cold start probs think it coolant sensor
Hi all, I have been trying to find whats causing my 907 to have to crank for ages to get it to start when cold. I first thought the regulator was at fault but on bypassing the injectors found it held 3bar for hours, so hooking the injectors back into the line I found a steady drop to 2bar, right so ...

Removing airbox
Just removing my injectors from my bike its a bit dark in the shed and cant seem to see away of getting the rubber fittings on the air box (that connect to the throttle bodies) past the injector rail, do you have to remove the rail first before getting the airbox past or is there an easier way that ...

Re: hard starting 907ie fuel pressure
Yes sparks seems ok I have hooked up a gauge just off the end of a pipe that exits the fuel tank delivery I flicked the key till the pump reached 3 bar then turnned off the pressure it held for hours. I then took the pipe off the exit side of the injector rail and hooked it up so the fuel bypassed t...

Re: hard starting 907ie fuel pressure
Cheers for the reply what do you you think my best course of action should be to trace the problem I thought about blocking fuel line somehow before it reaches injectors to see if pressure is held by pump just a fast flick of the key to get near 3bar and see if it holds. What do you think. Thanks ag...

Re: fuel pressure regulator best place to buy in UK
Thanks for all info I haven't had time to do anything with the bike yet, but I also found that the fpr off a sierra rs cosworth from the 1980s looks a fit and there are aftermarket adjustable pressure ones available so i might investigate further, cheers all

Re: fuel pressure regulator best place to buy in UK
Thanks for the replies just a question there is a small pipe routed from the regulator to the the intake what is its purpose, only aftermarket regulators I have seen haven't got this outlet and have only a supply and return. Thanks again re Alistair
