1991 907ie £2250

Decided I need to reduce the number of bikes I have and so this has to go A fantastic bike that I have used for touring in the UK and Europe. Super reliable and great fun to ride. Bought as a UK registered bike but it had km/h speedo and showed 61990 km. I swapped it for a mph speedo which shows an ...

Re: brain fart

I have a couple of filter removal tools but sometimes resort to the tried and trusted method of hammering a large screwdriver through the filter and then unscrewing it - simples

Re: only 6 907 in UK!

I remember you all from the meets in Earls Colne. Speedo and headlight are working perfectly :D I have a friend who lives in Braintree that has just started riding again after a few years gap. I gave him an old 750SS and he will probably turn up at your meet in April. His name is Derek. He posted a ...

Re: only 6 907 in UK!

You are indeed correct that I bought the 907 from Dave along with his 600SL Pantah which I have subsequently fully restored and returned to original specifications except changed it to MHR colours. It has done a few closed roads "parade" laps at the Isle of Man Classic TT/MGP now and hopef...

Re: Timing Belts for 907ie

Whilst the cost of belts is high the cost of a damaged engine is much more. I never understand why anybody would consider using non standard belts. I bought a Cagiva Elefant 750 with an engine that was damaged because somebody had taken a risk on belts and when you look at the degree of damage (comp...

Re: valve adjustment question

I also did the valve clearances on my 907 with the engine in the bike - fiddly but doable

Re: only 6 907 in UK!

I have a 1991 907ie that has done about 20k miles.

It is registered on the Isle of Man so would not show up in any DVLA search. As far as I am aware it is the only 907ie on the island.

I had a 906, which I gave to my brother-in-law, and I believe that is the only 906 here.
