Re: Mounting a new clutch plates set (Adige DU-81) .....

Hi Englishstiv & Mc Tool, No E, I'm happy that you did give me that thread, made once more clear that there are a lot of ideas how-to but not 1 clear answer to the question: how to correctly mount the clutch plates in a Paso (more like: tick a pick). In the end I managed to find the final (does ...

Re: Mounting a new clutch plates set (Adige DU-81) .....

Hey everyone, After sending some emails to Surflex and Adige/Adler (the 2 main clutch plate suppliers of the Paso) and Googling some more, I found the following cross section drawing (Surflex S1448). This shows, in my view, clearly and correctly the positions of and the way how to mount the clutch s...

Re: Require a new throttle cable. UK Based. 907ie

Hey Englishstiv, Not sure this is what you want but Stein-Dinse (Germany) has a throttle cable for your 907 IE on stock. https://www.stein-dinse.biz/product_info.php?products_id=476846#prettyPhoto = 19 euros + freight. If you think it is something for you, I propose you give them a call (or email) t...

Re: Mounting a new clutch plates set (Adige DU-81) .....

Hi Englischstiv & Mc tool, Thanks for your response, I was afraid no one would respond. As for the modification: it is correct, the clutch modification is only necessary for Ducatis with an air-cooled clutch whose "slave" is on the left side of the engine block. When I watched th...

Re: Hi from Italy!!

Hi Mc tool, I've seen that someone in the states has a massive amount of NOS Ducati/Cagiva parts. ;) ;) To bad it is quit expensive to get those send to Europe (P&P plus customs). But fortunately the old parts are relatively easy to restore as new (except anodising them again that is). Incidenta...

Mounting a new clutch plates set (Adige DU-81) .....

Hey Ducatisti!! Sitting at home (Corona etc.) I was looking at a very nice YouTube series made by Andy's (Aussie) regarding a complete restauration of his 900 SS (1996 I believe).  Especially since this is an aircooled 2-valve engine and thus similar to the one used in the Paso 75...

Re: Hi from Italy!!

Hi! Wow, it looks really good (well preserved), how much has it run (km)? First Paso I have ever ridden was in 1987 on a white one of a friend of mine, just like yours (although I thought that one had grey wheels, but not sure after 33 years). :) Question, the white is that a pearl white or a solid ...

Re: Weber with 34mm chokes - experiences? whodunnit?

Gerhard, I need to order some Weber parts (for my spare dcnf) including jets and would like to know which jets to order to have enough variations once the riding/tuning starts. I assumed some people had followed up higgy's advise to use the 34mm venturis/chokes for their 750's and could advise me on...

Re: Wanted: pictures of your Weber carb

Gerhard, I had the same question, to be honest I would rather assume the other way around ... ( more holes = more surface = less resistance = more fuel mixture from the idle circuit). Just saying: I want to believe the remark but I don't understand it (I'm not a Weber specialist just an interested b...

Re: Vacuum take off screw - WEBER

Hi Ronald, Hope al is well. I have a set of proper (professional) vacuum gauges, so that's not a problem for me. My questions is: the 2 vacuum nipples to be bolted in the intake manifold, if they are not in use, do you remove them or do you close them? :?: I hate to bolt a nipple in the ma...

Re: Vacuum take off screw - WEBER

I was just looking for a vacuum take off which I can close simply without screwing it out of the manifold.
I saw this screw but was told it won't fit the 44DCNF's.

Re: Weber with 34mm chokes - experiences? whodunnit?

What I'm trying to achieve? Well that's a bit complicated to say in a single sentence: I've actually never ridden a Paso so far. I just wanted to have one, so I bought it and immediately I have started to take it apart and started to restore it with the idea of bringing it back in an almost as new s...

Re: Wanted: pictures of your Weber carb

Gerhard,

I will try to measure the holes in the near future (will use the rear of small calibrated drill bits).
By the eye the lowest one is always smaller than the rest.
But I will check it for the 107 & 112.
