Just the FAQs, Ma'am.

My clutch was dragging, worse as it warmed up. I was pretty sure it was the friction plates so I found the clutch info in the FAQ and ordered up some Suzuki plates from Japan. This appealed to my frugal nature. Bingo! Problem solved. :D
Thanks guys.

Re: Woo-Hoo!! Finally got a Paso!

Here's an update on my Paso. Since it was fairly priced it did need a lot of love. I have decided to chase the gremlins and ride it rather than just strip it down and build it back. It's been fun for the most part although I do get weary of removing and replacing the fairing! The wiring has been th...

Re: I got a regulator but......

looks like the two yellow should be to the stator, should not matter which goes to which and the red should go to the battery unless of course you have the 3 wire stator :banghead: Heh. It has 3 wires, acts like it has 2. Not just an Italian, an Italian woman! I should know, I married one. I a...

Re: I got a regulator but......

Higgy, It is this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/261367017203?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT The instructions you listed are identical to those supplied with mine. When I hook it up as a 2 wire it works, as a 3 wire it does not. This is where Mr Spock raises his eyebrow...

Re: I got a regulator but......

So here's what I have: When I hook the 2 yellow from the alt together to one yellow of the RR and the red from the alt to the other yellow I get no charge. When I hook the 2 yellow from the alt to the 2 yellow on the RR I do get a charge and about 50 VAC on the yellows at 3k rpm. But will it live in...

Re: I got a regulator but......

Thank you Higgy.
One more question: On the original it seems that the red wire to the alternator had 12v on it from the regulator. Do I need to make a 12v connection to that wire externally for this to work now?

I got a regulator but......

..I need to be sure how to wire it so the smoke stays in! I have searched the board but I have not found a definitive answer on what to connect where. I have a 5 wire replacement for the 6 wire stock RR. Battery, ground and lamp are no problem but what do I do with the 2 yellows and 1 red of the alt...

Re: Parts for Paso in US

http://ricksmotorsportelectrics.com/aboutus I would recommend you check your stator and wiring before replacing the regulator  That's good advice. I have been working my way through the wiring and there were some issues. The stator checks out good and makes AC no prob, just goes dead at th...

Re: Parts for Paso in US

Thanks! Getting it charging and some new belts is the last hurdle. I have been riding it around a bit on the battery, it's as much fun as I remember!

Re: inlet manifold rubbers 750 paso

I have used, in a pinch, automobile fuel tank filler neck hose. It is very strong and fuelproof. Any good auto supply should have it available in a size that would work.

Parts for Paso in US

Hello people, I have 2 questions. Is there a good replacement voltage regulator I can find in the US? Or should I just go to the dealer for that ($$$)? I have searched the threads but there is nothing current (Ha!) on the subject that I see. Next, for engine parts, like belts and whatnot, is the dea...

Re: Woo-Hoo!! Finally got a Paso!

I will indeed share the price. 1400 USD. Before you go into a tailspin on how the 750 gets no respect the photo looks WAY BETTER than in person. It does not have an undamaged fairing panel to it's name. And the left side has earned some road burn. But it runs like a devil-dog and makes me grin like ...
