looking for 907 airbox intake tubes
Hi,
I am looking for two airbox intake tubes for may 907. I mean the venturi's at top in the filter cover. Does anyone have two they can sell or know of an address where I could shop for them?
Cheers JT

Re: 907 -ST2 mariage
Yes I am using the ST2 ECU. Any advice on where best to buy the cables? The fuel pump appears to work fine. Its the pressure regulater that sets the pressure anyway. On the 907 this is on the throttle bodies and on the ST-2 inside the tank. Using the ST-2 TB's and the 907 tank I ended up without a r...

Re: 907 -ST2 mariage
Did the quiet clutch mod, funny result. Initially the clutch clattered when engaged, now it rattles with the clutch disengaged. Prefer the new situation, Rattle on demand :) It works fine, good action and no slippage at full throttle. The rough running is now solved too, simple fix, The bike was run...

Re: 907 -ST2 marriage
Thanks Derek, Clutch question solved, springs in the ST-2 are thicker wire, I swapped them and added the extra friction plate at the bottom. Need to read up on JPdiag. I see info on the cables and hooking up, but not much on what it can do with an older ECU (IAW16M). Can it check all the sensors and...

Re: 907 -ST2 mariage
And maybe try the quiet clutch mod at the same time, this one needs it. (the basket may be at the end of its life)

Re: 907 -ST2 mariage
Thanks Derek, I used a '98 ST-2 engine, I swapped the whoe engine, including wiring loom, ecu and all the sensors. I agree that TPS set-up and balance is a good start, (will be mu first) but I cant help thinking that this is running so rough, there is more to it than just TB's and TBS being out of b...

907 -ST2 mariage
I have replaced the engine in my 907 with a 944ST2 engine. Not a straight fit but with some adjustements to the crancases and coolant lines it fits. I will need to fix some niggles on the engine, it runs very bad at low rpm and low load. Coughs and splutters, even barks back in the intake when decel...

Re: removing swingarm
I took the swingarm out with the intention to cure the play on the lever system. After cleaning and checking I put it back together to see which of the needle bearings/bushings needed replacing. What did I find, no play at all. Conclusion, the play I felt before was not in the bearings but the bolts...

Re: removing swingarm
Best wishes for 2016 to all. Thanks for the info and pics. I got the bolt out with a bigger hammer. I was going to renew some of the bearings to reduce the free-play but I think I will be looking for a Alu-welder now. The PO probably never ajusted the chain tension. The chain has chewed through the ...

removing swingarm
Trying to remove the swingarm axle bolt. The nut is off, the axle wont budge. Is there something else that is clamping the bolt or does it just need more brute force?

Re: Fuel tank leak
Good to hear. I am trying to decide if i should try a coating inside the tank or grind off the support and reweld. I noticed that the weight of the fairing is supported by the tank and all of the forward weight is hanging on that one support button. I suspect the tank flexes a bit under load causing...

Re: exhaust header black chrome pipes
Looked at the BUB site but couldnt find anything like that. Not an easy site to look for special stuff.ducinthebay wrote:Look like BUB pipes. A bit loud, but lovely. I have a set that are going onto my 907.
