Welcome to the club. I have been riding mine since 1992 and have never grown tired of her.

Re: Scratched dashboard.

Thank you everybody for the fine advice. I have moved on but it's very hard to see something you have loved and well kept for 32 years, suddenly desecrated .

Scratched dashboard.

Hi All, Some lowlife has used a key to scratch the perspex (or whatever it is) cover over my Tacho. Has anyone has any success cleaning up / polishing the perspex. Needless to say I'm not happy.

Re: Shindengen SH847 regulator

Thanks h1a,
Thats a logical spot and my thinking is I will do the same. Where did you run the stator wires?

Shindengen SH847 regulator

Wondering if anybody has installed a Shindengen SH847 regulator. It's much bigger than the OEM unit. If so where did you install it on the bike. A rough look suggests there isn't enough room in the oem position.

Thanks in advance.

Gasket Fuel Gauge Sender.

Hi All,
Does anyone know where to source the gasket that seals the fuel tank where the sender wires exit. It's part 037083110 in the parts book I have. Stein-Dinse does not have one or the complete unit.
I cannot stop it weeping fuel. Or do I just stick it together with gasket goo.

Cheers

Timing Belt Covers.

Anyone know of a supplier of timing belt covers. Mine are cracked and looking terrible. Carbon Fibre would be nice but anything would do.

Re: $100 907ie

At the risk of muddying the water here, but a couple of years ago I pulled in for fuel (thats gas for you yanks) and then when I went to leave, NO fuel pumps, so no start. I did a quick look around and traced problem to a corroded fuse on top of one of the relays. The fuse was not blown but there wa...

Ignition Switch electrical mod.

To any who have done the modification where a relay takes the power load off the ignition switch. I have the circuit diagram. Where did you physically place the relay and where did you cut the Bn Bk wire? A photo would be nice.

Re: Led lights

I too upgraded to a LED headlight. Most H4 replacement's will fit if you rearrange some of the cabling behind the headlight to clear the heatsink. In Australia I bought a Thunder (see attachment). At 2000 Lumens it's like riding in daylight. A word of caution though. If you are running the original ...

Re: Fuse Block

When mine fell apart I used a Narva 54420BL. I used insulated spade connectors and bent the terminals a bit for clearance.

Re: Another 907 back on the road (almost)!

Just keep some fuel conditioner in the tank, change the belts every couple of years and plenty of oil changes. She will last for ever.
Most engine parts are available and 3rd party bits take care of the rest.

Ride and enjoy, I know I do.
