Re: Looking for Paso 750 Oscam 16" wheels & tools
Hi, There are currently a few people selling Paso wheels in the Netherlands: 1.) https://www.marktplaats.nl/v/motoren/onderdelen-ducati/m1710378168-wielen-velgen-achterwiel-voorwiel-16-inch-paso-sport-750-906?correlationId=a33debba-21c1-4b77-b8ce-5f550186a3a3 2.) https://www.marktplaats.nl/v/motoren...

No idea whether you're still looking for bodywork for your race Paso, but I happened to see Duc-Only in the Netherlands is offering a complete set for only €200. https://www.marktplaats.nl/a/motoren/onderdelen-ducati/m1691277543-kuipset-kuipen-kuipdelen-topkuip-tank-zijpanelen-paso-750.html?previous...

Re: VIN number
Hi Pastr, According to your frame number you have a very early Paso. "ZDM750P” stands for “Italy/Ducati/Motorcycle/750 Paso" and then they started counting production (if I'm not wrong) from 7500000. So you have the 65th Paso ever manufactured. Check whether you have the Öhlins rear shock ...

Re: Rear suspension unit
Hi Jorian,
I agree with JWilliam. If you don't have proper tools (and the expertise!) for such an overhaul then leave it to a specialist. I've had my rear shock fully overhauled, see http://forums.ducatipaso.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7937 for more details. Good luck!

Re: Fuel hose
Hi Plasmid, I've replaced my complete fuel line a few years ago and I copied the old one. Bike in original set up with the Weber carb. If I remember well I needed some 1,5 - 1,75 meters. So with 2 meters you'll be all right. BTW I replaced the original plastic Y-connections which had become brittle ...

Re: Rear shock size
Hi Alistair, Maybe this is also interesting for you: the 'technical data sheet' of the Öhlins DU508 shock absorber which was installed on the first 950 or so 750 Paso's. The form is named 'Mounting instruction', but there are no instructions on it whatsoever :) Nevertheless, there are some sizes on ...

Re: Refinishing wheels
Hi Alfaman, A few years ago I did the same job. Very labour intensive, but luckily I managed: http://forums.ducatipaso.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=7848 Are you sure you've messed it up completely? I suppose having your rims repainted in the original color scheme will be pretty expensive :( Neverthel...

Hi,
I bought new Shinko tyres for my 750 Paso two years ago from MC Reifen in Germany: http://www.mc-reifen.de/index.html
Freight from Germany to Belgium was only €15,- for the set.

Re: Vacuum take off screw - WEBER
Hi Frank, After synchronizing I removed the two vacuum nipples, and replaced them with M5 screws sealed with a little bit of Loctite 222 on the thread. Just to be sure everything is sealed properly. Loctite 222 is the weaker version of Loctite 243, designed for joints that have to be taken apart eve...

Re: Vacuum take off screw - WEBER
Hi Frank, Last year I synchronized my Paso's carburetor using a home made 'gauge' (Two connected bottles of water, I got the inspiration from this YouTube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7D_f05_a74Y ) The take off screws can be screwed in at each side of the inlet manifold, so not in the carbu...

Re: Rear spring/shock replacement
Hi Tom, I have a 1986 750 Paso with an Öhlins rear shock absorber and had the same problem. I've had it overhauled and serviced by an approved Öhlins service center in Belgium. Cost me around EUR 200,- Absolutely worth the money and the effort. The paint job of the spring was done by a local paint j...
