Re: Steering head bearings loose?
Thanks for the good and quick reply. Yeah, the bike was said to be dealer serviced but I wasn't given proof, besides its nice condition. I'm looking for a factory manual now, much needed with any euro ride. I'll check the bearing tightness this weekend per your help and re-post. BTW the fork wasn't ...

Steering head bearings loose?
Hi, 'Been putting some miles on my recently acquired '93 907 and as it turned over the 10k mile mark this week, I noticed a funny feeling in the steering. At first it felt a little less planted in turns, then it got more pronounced over the next 100 miles till I parked it last night. It was feeling ...

ST/SS wheels fit a 907ie?
Hi folks, Anyone know if those gray 5 spoke oem Marchesinins that come with ST2, ST4 and 800SS/1000SS models will bolt onto a '93 907? I've looked closely at photos of both wheel versions, and the brake carrier holes seem to match but there's no way of my guessing about the axle diameters/lengths or...

Re: 907 crazy turn signals?
Hi Paso 750, Yes I swapped all the dash bulbs for LEDs but it didn't seem to affect anything (except I can actually see them in daylight). Hi Derek, Yes that lower tab n your photo touches just like mine, but the second tab, the upper one in the photo that's more sharply bent, was different on mine ...

Re: 907 crazy turn signals?
Hi Nickta, no, USA models like mine don't have a headlight on/off switch, only hi/lo. And I don't see my swapping to LEDs on the turn signals any time soon, especially if it may complicate any more electrical issues, but I appreciate the insight. Thanks for coming in on this, too, Derek. The hi/lo f...

Re: 907 crazy turn signals?
Hi nickta. Thanks for your comments. My camera/smart phone is kaput now but i'll try to get a photo up by the weekend. Yes, the hi-beam light was stuck on when I got the bike, before I changed to LEDs and no other symptoms changed after the LEDs were installed either. I'll check all the grounds next...

907 crazy turn signals?
Hi. My terrific '93 907 that I recently bought (9k miles total) came with the euro rear turn signal conversion, and it unfortunately also came with a strange quirk of flashing the turn signals (including the fronts) at twice or more the rate of normal, almost looking like they're 'flickering' rather...

Re: My new 907 - little fixes before long distance riding
Thanks, 900streetfighter! Fortunately the new front sprocket I got off ebay was a perfect replacement for stock. And the new 40 tooth replacing the stock USA 38 tooth rear makes the bike feel like a Ducati should; no more slipping the clutch. The lowered pegs - 30mm down - feel great, though any low...

My new 907 - little fixes before long distance riding
Hi Paso folks, Finally got one of my long sought bikes, a red 1993 907ie with less than 10k miles. Sadly, here in south Florida it's mostly flat straight roads but I'll make trips up to north Florida here and there to enjoy this bike properly. After the first two short rides I've had to already addr...
