Well, this may be the dumbest question asked here in awhile, but which part of the right side fairing do you remove to add engine oil? I tried removing the rear part, but it's secured in the middle of the panel somehow and I could figure out how to get it loose. I'm a non-mechanic :cry: and am wary ...

I figured it out - I removed the whole assembly and found out that the cap has to be removed at a perfectly vertical angle in order to come out. thanks again for your input!

It doesn't come off. There must be something wrong. Thanks for the input.

There is no key required - no keyhole in this cap.

I tried that, but it still won't come out.

Just bought this bike and I can't get the gas cap off. I lifted the lever and turned it 90 degrees and then rotated the cap 90 degrees, but it won't come out. What am I doing wrong???
