Re: 750 Sport fuel lines routing

Standard is a 120 jet in the return line. But in my opininion that's too small. Depending on the fuel pump pressure that could give too much pressure to the needle valve with the risk of overflooding the carb. If your pressure system feeds the carb just enough to keep the fuel level OK at full gas w...

Re: 750 Sport fuel lines routing

It's either or. If you have a jet in the return line it's fine. You're good to go with 8mm hoses for all three bits. Thanks, I will try that route. When you say make sure not to run 8mm on return, is that if you don't have the restriction jet, or even if you have the jet? I was going to replace all ...

Re: 750 Sport fuel lines routing

Hi Tutu, I ran both lines, the one from the tap to Y and the return line from Y to the socket at the bottom of the tank over the cylinder head under the frame. For a cleaner look that is. Btw. make sure you have a smaller diameter hose for the return line. It does not necesseraly have to be a (120) ...

Re: Oil leaks 89 900 ss

To be honest I don't know which model the sidestand is off , when I got from ebay I thought it was the same as original but it turned up being longer which is great although I haven't had the bike on the ground yet to check, the cap on the end of the countershaft was made by protwin ducati to compe...

Still doing an excellent job!

May I ask where you took the longer sidestand from and what sprocket fixation bit that is?

Thanks for that and for letting us follow you work!

Re: Rear brake disc alternative

Thanks!

I'm not so familiar with the older 16" wheels.
I thought all 17" are mostly the same, except for axle diameter maybe.

Re: Rear brake disc alternative

After quite some search throughout the web I finally ended up with a BrakeTech disc.
I was looking for a floating rotor.

Yes, same size cable at least.
On mine I have a Motolectric cable kit.
Maybe you like to read through their blog on that topic:

Re: Rewire issues on 89 900 ss

The earth strap going to the rear of the engine looks all wrong but was like that when I got the bike , the thread on the case looks to be for an adjustable cable ? Hi, your set up is the way Ducati did it. The M8 thread is for engine earth, no other purpose So everything the right way. But it turn...
