Has anyone tried an engine swap?

Hi all, my 1987 PASO 750 is completely dead. I am talking about engine misfiring, lots of metal particles on the chip detector magnetic plug, and non cooperating carbs, both weber and micuni options.. I am sick and tired of just spending money on local experts.. they have good intentions but nothing...

Re: Ducati 750 Paso LIMITED decails

I ordered for my paso 750, some years ago from a uk based company.

Re: Visiting Italy

Thank you guys, for your kind comments. You are right about the area and people, it's was truly amazing! Now, only pictures and sweet memories. I get myself smiling, as I look over at my beautiful white PASO, standing a few meters away. Seems like she's smiling back to me.. La vita e bella. Already,...

Re: Visiting Italy

Hi my fellow Pasionisti, as promised some pics from last trip to Italy. So many new roads, vistas and impressions. We had a really great time. Don't know how much time I will personally need to accommodate all the memories. Looking at pics, looks like a dream, a sweet dream. Take care and stay on th...

Re: Visiting Italy

Hi all, finally decided to write a few words about our recent moto trip to Italy. It always takes some time, to realize you are back, and it always gives me a mixed feeling. Well, we had a great time, about 4000km of riding, and most of it away from autostrada. Central Italy countryside is just beau...

Re: Visiting Italy

Hi Paolo, seems like my previous reply somehow disappeared.. I am using a tablet, maybe my bad.
Anyway, am currently in Montalcino, Sienna and tomorrow going towards Amalfi.
If convenient for you also, I let you know our route later or in the morning, maybe we can meet.

Cheers

Visiting Italy

Hi Paso friends, just a quick note: I will be visiting Tuscany area (Italy) from August 13 to 22, with my 750 of course. I know it's beach and family vacation time, but anyway was wondering if any Paso pilot will be in the neighborhood? Would be great to meet and have a few drinks together. Regards ...

Re: Paso mechanic in Italy?

Thank you for your wishes, dear friends. I cannot describe how happy I am! I am trying to use any excuse to go for a ride! I know, looks like I am hopeless.. ;-) Paintjob cost was 600euro+VAT. Beautiful work, decals from UK, extra. I think it was around 60euro, top quality. Best wishes for the summe...

Re: Golden Tire !!

Hi fellow PASO riders! Just tried the new tyres for about a week, after a complete restore of my 750. Location Greece, temps as expected for season, around 25~30deg Celcius. I want to say outfront that I am no speed demon and my riding could not be described as extreme. Also, bike is completely stan...

Re: Paso mechanic in Italy?

Hi again, Just a quick note, wanted to thank you for your help. After consideration and your advice, I finally decided to do the restore in Greece. I must admit that all shops that I contacted in Italy were very helpful, which is appreciated. At the moment, the Paso is under the tender care of a loc...

Re: Paso mechanic in Italy?

Thank you persempre907, for your reply. I suspect they are not very willing to deal with a rare old bike, when at the same time they will be more productive with new ducatis. I am looking for a solution at the time, no success so far. Can you please pm me with some detail about Roma? whenever possib...
