Re: lenses

I have a pair of lenses from a Cagiva Freccia ( looks familiar right? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VtvM6SETxXs ) that I bought as Paso lenses (from Australia)... but the size is slightly out by 5mm on the overall length and a little on the width. They look like they fit but... they don't fit. I'm...

Re: 906 fairings to 907IE

I think the only difference is the front aerolon/spoiler thing on the 907, the main panels are all the same. same holes for the side air-cooled radiators that the 750 has.

Re: idle adjustment cable replacement parts?

demidesmo, The guys above are spot on. Those are not the idle screws. I believe to access the idle screw you can gain access from the front opening of the fairing on the left side. You will need a long extension on a nut driver to make it work. The coolant hose swells when it gets hot and presses a...

Re: idle adjustment cable replacement parts?

Items 1 and 2 are the air bleed screws. They are for setting the CO and throttle body balance at idle. They will affect the idle speed but that's not their intended purpose. Ok, I had bad advice from a ducati mechanic. I suggest you read this article on how to set up the throttle bodies : http://ww...

Re: idle adjustment cable replacement parts?

Just so I'm sure we're talking about the same item... the piece I am referring to is number 1 in the diagram below.

idle adjustment cable replacement parts?

Looked into adjusting the idle speed of the bike today as it ends up near 2500-3000rpm once warm. which makes stop start traffic a little stressful. The left of the two screws turns the whole cable (cover and cable) not just the internal bits it is supposed to. Not sure if the throttle body end is f...

Re: 907ie Choke lever WANTED

I ended up buying one of these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-ST4-9 ... SwZQRYghvg

ST4 choke lever assembly. I'd imagine the ST2 would be the same also.

Re: Oil level in 907 M1R forks ?

Roughly how much oil is required in the standard forks to arrive at the air-gap level? I've not seen it mentioned in any of the manuals or on this forum anywhere... I bought a litre... but I've a creeping suspicion that's nowhere near enough.

thanks in advance.

Re: Oil Pressure Switch

Thanks for the prompt reply, I think to make things easier in future the thread adapter is the way to go. Found an adapter https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F163696674173 here's another closer to the part in the diagram https://www.fittings.space/gbm21...

Re: Oil Pressure Switch

Part numbers are always useful... as I’m chasing one these myself. Pretty much any search for Ducati oil pressure switch is bringing back the M10 thread spec when the Paso’s are an M14 thread.

Anyone got a model I can use to narrow the search?

Quick Tank Grommet experiment

So, I inherited the bike with only 2 ageing Tank retaining grommets. I wanted to check to see if the cheap China sourced Honda CG125 parts would replace the originals at a fraction of the price of the originals (if you can find them). So I received a about 24 pieces of tanks grommets for less than €...

Re: Introducing 2223

Hello, and thanks for the suggestions guys. The cables are plentiful to be honest, and I can see the value in gettign the exact one fo rth e907.i.e. as it comes with the 90 degree curve tube for the engine end. I bought an NOS ST2 housing and cable (comes without the fixing screws/bolts) but the cab...
