Re: 907 i. Regler i

Hello Stobach,

I saw this thread about replacement voltage regulators - I think this is what you were needing:

Hope this helps!

Re: I became a 907ie owner this week

Beautiful, beautiful 907!! That is one of the cleanest in the US and they are getting rarer by the month. Quick glance shows Termi exhaust- I bet they sound glorious!! And euro tail lights are very cool. Mine is red but that black on yours looks amazing. Sounds like you got an excellent example and ...

Re: Emptying fuel tank

Before firing it off, have you replaced the timing belts? Double check the plugs to see if they need cleaning or replacing, and assuming you have spark and air, if you already tried to start it with old varnished fuel you may need to replace the fuel filter. Good luck- once you have it running again...

Re: Emptying fuel tank

Yes, not something I’d want to try again :) there are siphoning hoses with a built in bulb used to get the flow going so you don’t have to taste test the old fuel.

Re: Emptying fuel tank

If the fuel is really bad, siphoning would save the fuel pump and filters.

Re: Another 907 back on the road (almost)!

It seems like this website once had a registry of Pasos and 907s, but that seems to have fallen away during some transition. If the registry were ever restored, or if there is another registry on the web someplace, I would love to hear about it!

Re: Another 907 back on the road (almost)!

Hi everyone - I posted some photos over on the Ducati.ms Paso forum; due to the rarity of our bikes that forum had gone dormant so trying to kick start some interest over there. Check it out when you can, and I hope you all have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving (if you are in the US, otherwise have a g...

Re: Another 907 back on the road (almost)!

So a great day today - I have been having trouble with the 907 since it went back on the road. At about 2/3 throttle it felt like the bike just hit a wall - no power - and I thought it seemed like it was starved for fuel. It turns out that the filter on the bottom of the pump - something that looks ...

Re: Wow, No Post Since December

I was lucky enough to get in a day ride a few weeks back- the weather here was beautiful. But now we have freezing weather again as winter is in its final weeks. A good friend had a 90s BMW airhead and we are planning a ROTC (ride of the classics) weekend as soon as it clears up!

Re: Another 907 back on the road (almost)!

Well, it's been about 2 months since I last checked in.. A couple weekends ago a friend wanted me to ride with him on a half day test run to see if his FJR finally had its oil leak fixed. We did a nice loop north of the metroplex and when it was over my friend peeled off for home and I headed south ...

Re: Well nuts

Thank you for the link to Amazon!
When I bought the 907 back in 2001 the PO gave me a tip on retapping something more commonly available but at $17 you can't go wrong.

Much appreciated!

Re: Another 907 back on the road (almost)!

After just over a month of waiting, I got a call yesterday afternoon that the new fuel pump had arrived, was installed, and the 907 was tested and ready to go! I dropped everything and raced to the shop arriving just before they closed. There she sat - such a gorgeous shade of red. While they finish...

Re: Another 907 back on the road (almost)!

Thanks Duc77 for the ideas! I ended up taking it back to the shop - they had previously disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled the fuel pump and thought it was good. I was convinced it was the fuel pump because the sound you hear when you first switch the key on and the fuel pressure builds was not ...

Re: Another 907 back on the road (almost)!

After the fuel clamp issue was resolved (see above) I assumed I was all set. Today took a ride out to Jacksboro, TX for a "Herd Burger". On the way back my partner passed a truck pulling a trailer at about 70mph. When there was an opening I down shifted two gears, whacked the throttle open...

Re: Another 907 back on the road (almost)!

Today is the start of Labor Day weekend in the US; most folks have Monday off to celebrate. I kicked off the weekend having breakfast with friends this morning and unveiling the resurrected Ducati. I live in the DFW area and so after breakfast rode to Forestburg, Tioga, and back. You are not kidding...
