No spark to either cylinder
Hello, I went for a ride a few weeks ago and my 91 907 performed very well. The next day, I went out to start the bike and it wouldn't start. It hasn't started since. I eventually killed the starter trying to start it and have installed a new starter. But I am still not getting spark on either cylin...

Re: Electrical help please.
Good work fvee3. Ive had my project 907 for a year and I am amazed at how many electrical problems Ive had. Mine had sat for who knows how long which is never a good place to start. But hopefully I will get it sorted soon.

907 throttle cable and butterfly valves
Hello again. I took the project 907 on a quick ride yesterday and it performed well. Before I acquired the bike, it had been sitting for a while so as you can imagine, I am still sorting through various issues. One of which is the throttle cable. I noticed that when I turn the throttle to full gas, ...

907 Starter Solenoid
Its been a while since I have posted, but my 907 project is close to being completed at least to make it road worthy. Ive taken it up and down the road a few times now, but the tires are 15 years old, so that is not good. Before I replace the rubber, there are a few electrical issues that still rema...

Re: 91 ignition problem
Thanks guys. I will see if a wire is cut thus causing the short.
Id like to do the wiring mod at some point. But id like to get it road worthy first and get stranded before doing the wiring mod. lol

91 ignition problem
My 91 907 wasn't started for a while before my ownership (I dont know any details about the po). It now starts and runs well. However, I noticed that there is smoke coming from the bottom of the ignition barrel. When i first got the bike, I cleaned the contacts of the barrel so Im not sure if I perh...

Re: Instrument panel screen
Thanks for the suggestions. Ive checked on Ebay and I've seen a few instrument clusters on there but not the screen only. Id like to avoid purchasing the entire cluster, but that might be the best idea.

Instrument panel screen
So now that I've got the bike running, its time to address the many issues to get it road worthy. One of those issues is that the gauge cluster lacks a screen. Id rather buy a screen than buy the entire gauge cluster. Does anyone have any ideas? I doubt id be able to find the screen only so I though...

Re: $100 907ie
It lives! I got the 907 started today! It idled and sounded quite good. It started pretty easily 3 or 4 times, but now the fuel pump won't prime. i suspect its a bad connection. Its a brand new fuel pump.

Re: $100 907ie
Yes paso750 has been of immense help. I had almost no experience dealing with electrical problems until this bike, but Ive learned a lot already. I did spray a squirt of starter fluid into the airbox and it started to run for a second. The fuel pump is completely dead. Ive ordered a new one and will...

Re: $100 907ie
So I measured the voltage on the grey wire and it was showing 9.58v. I also measured the fuses on the relays again. Obviously, I didn't do this correctly the first time. I got just under 9v on the fuse on the first relay, and 12v on the fuse on the second relay.

Re: $100 907ie
So the red wire on the first relay measured 12v but the brown wire measured 0v. On the second relay, the red wire also measured 12v but the violet measured 0v.
