Re: Mystery item! Found this in my oil!
Thank you for those replies. The bearing cage or retainer seems to be the best answer. What bearings are in there and how difficult is it going to be to get in and replace them?

Mystery item! Found this in my oil!
Changing the oil in my 907ie and this came out in the old oil. Made of lightweight alloy, I think. Anyone know what it used to be?

brain fart
Hi guys. been a while. Ok, so I want to change the oil in my 907. The drain plug seems to be about 11mm. My 10mm is sloppy. I don't have an 11mm. I don't remember what I did last time (!). And I'm wondering if I can even get the spin on oil filter off with the exhaust in place. Maybe not. Maybe the ...

help with swingarm removal
I had the dreaded sprocket nut backout and now have to remove the swingarm to have it repaired. So, I have the pivot nut off but can't back the pivot bolt out. I have the shock disattached, the wheel out and brake removed, will get to the exhaust that's threaded through the swingarm (any suggestions...

907ie swingarm
I need a new swingarm for a 1993 907ie.
I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who:
*Has one to sell
*knows of someone who has one to sell
*knows where I can get one
*knows what other models if any use the same swingarm.
Thanks
Sheldon

Clutch bleed nipple sourcing
My 88 Paso clutch bleed nipple at the clutch case is stripped. Need a new one. Is it a standard thread? Can I source one from the Honda store down the block or from the Ducati dealer re: other models? Anyone know how specific this part is to our Pasos?
Thanks

Re: front end? steering? Weird
also good ideas. Wheel bearings are good. Swing arm pivot will check. Starting to look like it's a rider issue. I guess I have to go faster!

Re: front end? steering? Weird
Yep, Claude. Those are the numbers I put in. But I'll check the gauge and the pressure again!
Thx.

front end? steering? Weird
Took the 907 out for the first time this year with proper air pressure and a bolt tightness check, oil, chain tension and lube and a quick polish. It seems to tip in early and hard and is quite sensitive to steering inputs. Not the rock solid stable long curve tourer that I remember! Could it be tha...

Re: How good is a 907ie?
Randy. You are not alone. I have a 907ie, which is fantastic and I rode the tires off it all the way to Monteray for Laguna Seca two years ago (and back without even thinking about problems), and I have a 750 Paso too, which I always fall back on when the other steeds in the garage are failing me (n...

Re: 907ie idling high! Help?

Fiddled with everything imaginable and then....... found that some...somebody had put the steel clip that keeps the vertical cylinder's crank position sensor electrical connector together on upside down. Re: 907ie idling high! Help?
Thanks. I will do the sync later today and then close the idle screws. What are the adjustments on the left side of the throttle bodies (Tamborinifan)?

Re: 907ie idling high! Help?
Hi Higgy. Thanks. I have had the tank off as well as the air box. The air box fits snugly. There appears to be no air leaks to the vacuum system. The air temp and vacuum sensors are physically intact and installed properly, but of course I cannot comment on their inner electronics. The hoses and ele...
